TOPIC: Token Update!

It has been a very interesting few weeks in token development.  We hit a serious unforeseen snag with the token order this year, and some things have been changed.  The price will remain the same, but the exact make-up of each 10-pack has been altered slightly.<br /><br />The Rumor tokens are no more.  We will still have the Lore tokens, but the Rumor tokens had to be shelved.  So instead of one slot in the 10-pack being made up of "50% chance of Rumor / 50% chance of Lore", the slot will now be made up of "100% chance of a Lore" token.  This makes the Lore tokens equal in rarity to the Rare token -- or one in every 10-pack.  They will always be copper metallic and never platinum.<br /><br /> <br /><br />I still hope to include some NPC videos in the Lore program, and it should still be a whole lot of fun.  <br /><br />I am really sorry for the last minute change!  Things changed at the very last minute despite earlier assurances to the contrary.  If you ordered a Condensed Pack you will now get double the number of Lore tokens indicated and no Rumor tokens.<br /><br />I should receive an ETA on the tokens in the next few days, but it appears likely now that they won't arrive until April due to the issues that had to be ironed out.  I will give more info on this (and the Onyx tokens!) when I know something.<br /><br /><br />Thanks for your patience through all of this.  We have been very lucky to upgrade our tokens to their present form in 2007, and I sanguine that we are set for another three years of smooth sailing.

No worries Jeff, the change is not a big deal, tokens look fantastic, and I can't wait to open my packs in March!  Thanks for all the hard work!!!    =D

Okay...here is the official word from the factory.<br /><br />Unfortunately, we will not make the Chinese New Year deadline as I had hoped.  As a result the tokens won't start production until after that in March.  I am told the tokens will ship around the middle of March.<br /><br />The proof Onyx tokens won't arrive after the CNY as well.  They are scheduled to arrive at the end of February.<br /><br />I am sorry for the long delay here.  A wrench was thrown into the works at the very last minute, and unfortunately this delay was not avoidable.  I am just happy that we were able to find a solution to the problems that did arise.
