TOPIC: Quick Feedback Needed about 2010 Tokens and Plats

Because we are taking out one Common token and adding in a Lore/Rumor token in its place, we have to change things a bit with the platinum distribution.  We decided NOT to make any of the Lore/Rumor tokens have the 10% chance of being platinum so that means that one 10-pack of tokens out of 10 10-packs won't have any platinums in it.  Is that cool?  Or would you rather we just make ANOTHER Common token be a platinum?<br /><br /> <br /><br />Also, I think it is time to move the Uncommon and Rares to the center of the 10-packs as shown here.  Is that cool, too?<br /><br />Any feedback would be appreciated.  Thanks!<br /><br />

Since any '00 replaces a common, would there now be a chance of a UR showing on top?<br /><br />While a common on top does prevent most surprises from being spoiled, I wouldn't mind having an uncommon on top either.<br /><br />As for the no plat Lore/Rumor token, I guess you can just take out the option with no plats, leaving 9 options.  One of the nine gold tokens would be replaced with a plat, causing more plats in general.  Or leave as is for an unlucky 10% chance of no plats.  It's not like it's a deal breaker for anyone but collectors (or those who trade with them.)

<br />I'm not sure what you mean by "make another Common be platinum". Are you asking if we want two plats per pack or if we want all packs to have one plat?<br /><br />I'm not a plat-set collector, so it doesn't really make a difference to me personally, but in a perfect world, it'd be nice for all packs have one. However either way is okay by me.<br /><br />

<br />Yes! I absolutely think Commons should be the only token visible in a sealed pack. Octoberblu3 raises a good point though. It's imperative that the 1/100 UR never be on top. If that's not something that can be guaranteed, put an Uncommon on top.

Sorry.  If you look at the diagram you will see that the top right stack contains no Plats since all the available 9 slots have already been taken.  We could either make the Number Ten stack have no plats at all -- or we could make it so that stack has a Common plat -- just like Number Nine Stack.<br /><br />Which would everyone approve?<br /><br />--<br /><br />The tokens are hand packaged -- not machine packaged -- so we can make sure that no Ultra Rares are put on the top.  No worries about that.

Any of these options is fine. I would suggest not allowing the potential 00 to show on top, just to keep things kosher.

I'd vote for the new option, with the top common being a PLAT in 2 of 10 packs.  <br /><br />Of course - I'd really prefer that the Lore/Rumor tokens get a PLAT 1 of 10 times too - but I was outvoted on that  =D<br /><br />Having the Rare and Uncommon tokens be in the middle is cool.  That does add more mystery - I'm always tempted to look at the top of all the packs I get to see what the Rare distribution is right at the start, and then that takes some of the fun out of opening the packs. 

I vote for the second option.

I'm up for either and I think having the rares not be visable is a great idea!

While I'm not buying enough to collect, I'd suggest that the tenth pack have a PLAT common instead of no plats at all.<br /><br />If it's a cost issue however, commons are, well, common, so if it saves a bunch of money, I'd leave out the plat in the 10th pack.
