TOPIC: Non-Random Pooling - Cancelled

I thought I'd see if we could get four $2K buyers together that could come to agreement on what Onyx PURPs to get and what bonus items to get, instead of determining things randomly (especially randomly where some buyers might not get anything, which seems to be where the existing pool is).  I'm in for $2K, so we just need three more $2K buyers.  Everyone would get all 80 Lore and Rumor codes. <br /><br />I'm starting with the breakout like this:<br /><br />1)  Rare and Uncommon Onyx Set<br />2)  Wish Ring and Common Onyx Set<br />3)  2 extra Ultra-Rare Onyx tokens and 20 Lore and 20 Rumor Tokens (1/2 Lore & Rumor sets)<br />4)  2 extra Ultra-Rare Onyx tokens and 20 Lore and 20 Rumor Tokens (1/2 Lore & Rumor sets)<br /><br />If anyone is interested in participating, send me a PM on which of the above lots you'd be willing to get (the more you list the better) and which four Onyx PURPs you'd be willing to get (again, the more flexibility the better).  I'll try to get back with everyone the weekend after Thanksgiving.  If we can get four buyers (or less than four if someone wants to get $4K or $6K of tokens) and can work it out so everyone gets what they want, we are a go.  I'll be happy to crunch the data and see if it is doable.  There are so many great bonuses for an $8K purchase, I'm optimistic we can get it to work.  Maybe if you're buying less than $2K now, it is worth bumping it up to $2K to get some of the bonuses (making it a win for TD also).  <br /><br />For Lots 3 and 4, whomever gets those lots, we'd work out between them who gets which of the extra four Onyx PURPs.  <br /><br />Send me a PM, let's get this party started!   =D<br />

I had a question about $1K participnts. Lots 3 and 4 divide pretty easily, so if anyone wants to go in for half of one of those for $1K that is probably doable.

There is still a spot for a $1K participant and a $2K participant (or a single $3K participant).  <br /><br />The $1K slot would get an extra Onyx PURP and 10 each Lore and Rumor Tokens.  <br /><br />The $2K slot could get either Lots 1, 2, or 3 from the first post.  <br /><br />The Ultra-Rares still available for Onyx selection are:  <br /><br />Bracers of Supreme Archery<br />+1 Rapier of Piercing<br />+1 Falchion of Life-Stealing<br />+1 Mighty Shortbow<br />+2 Light Crossbow of Frost<br />+2 Long Spear of Dragon Slaying<br />+2 Staff of Power<br />Hat of Healing<br />Helm of Retribution<br />Maul of the Titans<br />Monk's Belt<br />Plate Armor of Attack<br />Runestone Fitting Base<br /><br />Because we already have excess duplication of onyx picks, we need the $2K purchase to have 5 or 6 of the 8 PURPs to be from the above list, and the $1K purchase to have 3 or 4 picks from the above list.  The advantage of that is that you can get more than half of your PURPs to be Onyx if what you want matches the above list.  <br /><br />Send me a PM if you want to join in.  Even if you only have half of your PURPs from the above list, send me a PM and maybe we can work it out.  <br /><br />Thanks!!!

Updated to show that the Spear of Dragonslaying is taken by one of the current participants.  That should make it easier to get all the PURPs taken and make this work  =)

Mike-<br />I'm going to be placing a $1K order, so I'm considering going in with your group.  I was wondering, though, how does the loss of the Rumor set effect the bonus breakdown?  Will there be double the number of Lore tokens available now?  And, finally, a $1K buy would result in getting five UR tokens, yes?  (2 gold of choice, 2 onyx of choice, 1 bonus onyx)  Thanks for taking time to address my questions.<br />-Arp
