TOPIC: Final 2010 Token Proofs!

My suggestion is to change the Falchion to a standard +2 damage wheel.
(3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10)

This now puts the Falchion on par with the +1 Mighty Longbow when you add in the bonuses from the plethora of ammo we now have.

Then the wheel would not reflect the other falchion weapons. I agree it should just be a +1 weapon.

I don't think a +1 weapon works well considering the +1 Elven Falchion as a rare. It would actually do 3pts less damage (to fey) than the rare as a melee weapon. Doesn't seem to me that UR should be weaker than a rare. Anyone can make up the lower damage of the older +1 Mighty Longbow with the uncommon arrows in this set (frost, fire, sonic) or those from last year.

Leave it as is; a different option to the +1 Mighty Longbow and arrows

It's not really weaker - the healing ability is a pretty big bonus.
Also, we have the artwork for the 3 artifacts finished, and they look sweet. Instead of publishing them now, I think it would be cooler to wait until the actual tokens show up in about a month. I will post photos of them a week AFTER they are sent to their owners. I want them to get them maximum geek fun out of them.

How about showing one a week...this way we get weekly surprises, instead of one big surprise at the end of a month?

As for waiting for them to send...well...it might be more fun to tease us with photos first...??

I know I am anxious to see the other artifacts! Weekly releases seems to hold more suspense.

Sounds good, Gary!

I am waiting for the actual artifact tokens to arrive though...so I can get real pics.
How about something straightforward:

+1 Falchion of Life Stealing: Any "20" heals wielder 6 pts

I know I'm coming into this a little late - but I *love* this.

When I saw it in the UR list as part of the Token PreOrder mail, I had to reevaluate my other top-picks to see if I could somehow include this in it.

Alas, no amount of re-evaluating is working to fit this into my top 4. There's just too many awesome tokens this year. I might just have to spend more on this order *gulp*

What's the damage wheel on the falchion and how does it compare to the Broadsword of Life Stealing? I can see the possibility of this making it on to my want list. I think I have the same dilemma as Raven now.

Kim

The broadsword gives you slightly less average damage (5.5 vs 6), is one handed, and is usable by more characters. If you already have the BS, I'd stick with that and use a shield. :|

I am pretty sure that this is a mistake, and should have been noticed earlier, but as I was "rolling for treasure" I rolled a Keen Arrow. I just happened to glance at it a little closer than normal and noticed it does not have a "(one use)" on it.

It states in the token guide that projectiles like arrows get turned in when used, so it shouldn't be much of an issue.
