I've been getting 403 errors on and off today for the site.

anyone else hitting this?

Yep, lots of us were. There was a post on the TD Facebook page saying that someone put the website into a portable hole than put that into a bag of holding...
You can't fix stupid but you can TPK it.

I had sent an email over to Jeff yesterday as well - apparently he said they had forgotten to feed the Goblins - yikes. At least it wasn't Smoak =)
