TOPIC: Disappearing text

I have a problem on my trade thread "Molda's Mercantile"

I see nothing in my first post of this thread, no one else does either.
I tried to edit the post and it still showed nothing. I then tried to edit the second post and it also went blank.
I logged out and came back and still the same.
It is very odd. Looking at each post there is nothing, but the data is there because when I roll my cursor over it, it shows up. And when I try to edit the information, it all shows until I hit submit, but then the edit attempt does not help.
I was able to "reply" on the thread however.
What gives?

Sound like there might be a text color change tag added. Look for something like this:

[ color=#880000 ] (your text) [ /color=#880000 ]

and delete it.

I thought about that and checked it while I was scratching my head before I posted about it. I re-checked it just now, no luck.

I looked at the text in your 1st post. Try removing all color tags & see if it appears as black text.

The tags that are there are from the old forum format & not the new.

color=red (old) color=#ff0000 (new)

Hopfully this will fix it.

I have found that disappearing text seems to often happen when a message has certain data (such as a link to another post). If you click "Quote" or "Edit" (if it is your post) you can see the original text. It's just not always showing up (I'm using Chrome).

It turned out to be the link to my Token Wallet site. Once I removed it, all is well.
