Thank you

Token Collector!

Important Bag Check Perk Info Below!

Dear Token Collector,

I am writing to thank you for your support of True Dungeon through your collecting of Treasure Tokens, and I am writing to inform you about an additional perk we are extending to all $2K+ buyers.  As you may know, we are no longer offering a Bag Check service for our players.  This was done for a variety of good reasons, but we felt we should still offer the service to a select group of very special people – or volunteers and our generous token collectors.

In an area off of the Adventurers' Guild sitting space, there will be a small room designate as a bag check for volunteers and big token buyers. We will strongly suggest that volunteers only use the bag check desk if necessary as they come on shift. They can do so by presenting their Volunteer button and Gen Con Indy badge. Volunteer schedule may be checked to make sure the person is coming on shift.  Also, each token buyer who bought at least $2K in tokens since Nov. 1st, 2011 can pick up a special bag check chip at the TD Store when they first arrive -- and then take this chip to the special bag check room. They will be able to check ONE item with their ONE chip. They must present a government-issued ID card when they pick up their chip at the TD Store.  This chip is retained by the collector until the end of the Con. This offer does not give more than one bag check chip per person -- so nothing changes if you bought $4K or $8K in tokens -- you still only get one bag check chip for your personal use.  The bag check chips cannot be sold, traded or lent to anyone else. Each bag check chip will have the buyer's name written on it, and badges will be checked when the chip is used. The chip must match the badge for it to be used.  Please note that this service has nothing to do with the Adventurers’ Guild buttons.  Having an AG button will not necessarily grant you the ability to use the Bag Check.  Only those have spent $2K with us (according to our records) will be on the Bag Check list.  If you are receiving this update, then you are on that list.

Note that the Bag Check will be open from 8:45am until 11:00pm (Thursday-Saturday) and 8:45am until 1:00pm on Sunday for the acceptance of bags to check. At closing time (11:00pm Th-Sa / 1:00pm Su), all the bags will be moved into the XP Room -- and players can pick up their bags as they leave the XP room from its rear exit. No players re-enter the storyscape after closing time.  The small bag check room will be staffed by one TD volunteer, and there will be a security camera/DVR installed in the room with the room viewable on a monitor in the prop area. (Other cameras are going up in other areas, too.) There will be only one entrance into the bag check room.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Use this Bag Check service at your own risk.  We cannot guarantee the safety of any item left there.

Thank you again for your support of True Dungeon and its incredible expansion this year.  I look forward to all the fun at our 10th annual event!

Last note:  We are sending out any additionally earned “perks” you may have earned with repeat token purchases.  For instance, if you placed two $1K orders, you should receive one Adventurers’ Guild button in the mail this week.  The AG button is a $2K level perk, so your two $1K orders combine to achieve this benefit.

Best Regards,

Great New Online Token Tool!

I am very pleased to announce that TD has a new website that provides a host of token information for your quick reference.

www.tokendb.com

The site has been designed to work well on your desktop, laptop and portable device. Not only is it a fast place to find out info about a specific token, but it also has some cool Search functions, too.  A big thanks to Druegar for his tireless efforts to compile such a massive reference work, and another thanks to Dave Radtke for his years-long devotion to detailing tokens.

This new website is a cool new tool for players and collectors -- as both an instant info spot and a great research tool.
