dequils,

I was one of the people Saturday night that was looking for your bag. I was releived that Sunday when I came in that you had your bag with everything in it. >>>>>It's funny, Saturday night I was bragging to some other folks that gamers, on the whole, are honest people. When you came around looking for your bag, I was miffed about it - it reflects on all gamers and TD as well. Glad Sunday my original oppinion was correct.

I am SO glad you got that bag back, Doug!
I shared the news & description of your bag with everyone I came across, and everyone was very concerned. You've done so much good stuff with & for the TD crew that no one wanted to see you come out the worse for your experience in the tavern.

(Thanks for posting the good news to the Forum, too! I hadn't heard about the recovery of the bag until I read it this morning.)

Yeah, see I told DD that that was going to be a mean trick to pull on you Douglas. Buuuut she was wearing her "dark fairy" outfit... so she picked up the bag and flitted off with it. Bad Fairy.

Glad you found it, though the timing could have been a bit better. I had just put up the reward signs you made when I heard and had to go collect them all again.

Phew! Glad to hear you got your backpack back. Gamers seem to generally be good people, and I'm delighted to hear it was returned.

On another note... are old magic cards seriously worth that much? I have a shoebox filled with about 2000 cards sitting in my bedroom, all from between 1995 and 1997, most leaning towards the early end. I should pull them out and inventory them I suppose. I don't remember a heck of a lot about them, except that I've got stacks of artifacts, several "gold" dragons, and far more cards than I'd ever need.

Is there any sort of online priceguide or anything for these things?

Yeah if you have any thing from back then that has the word "Mox" as the first word in the title or a "Black Lotus" or "Sol Ring", you have a bit of money just siting there, there all artfacts, or if you have "Time Twister" I would hold on to them till next GenCon or put them up on Ebay.
Its funny how something that takes multiple days to set up comes down in a few hours...

Indeed, wasn't it last year where a few unopened Mox boxes sold for $10,000 at Gen Con? The number blew me away.
