TOPIC: I hate Pepsi

F- you pepsi co. I've been collecting your ridiculous points for months and months now and all of a sudden you state that there are no more sweepstakes and the entire program is ending in a month. I've been collecting these stupid points for ages and I still only have 32 of them. The cheapest item left that isn't a god darn music download is 75. This blows.

Diet Coke, baby.....it's the only crack for me.<br /><br />Coke offers points....if you drink 5 million gallons you can get a free coke beach towel...totally worth it. 

You know in a pinch Diet Coke is almost as good as Diet Dr Pepper!  (I know this because Jen drinks Diet Coke and I usually run out of Diet Dr Pepper!)

I have bunches more of coke points than pepsi ones. I've actually gotten some nice things from coke. A year ago I picked up $75 worth of blockbuster gift cards by trading in points and then gave them out for christmas presents.

I'm a diet Pepsi guy myself.  I drink way too much of it, but never tried to collect the points.  I just have a collection of buy 1, get 1 free caps.<br />

I'm lucky that people at work have all been dumping their Pepsi caps on my desk so I have been able to acquire about 300 points or so.  Still - the only things I want from them ARE mp3s - but you have to click on the song to find out if you can use points for it anyway.  How flippin' annoying!<br /><br /><br />And F- Dr. Pepper, too!  I have 2 caps that end with UWIN, and I can't even log in to claim the prizes!  And I've tried on several different computers, from several different locations, so don't even tell me my computer is just bonked like they did.<br /><br /><br />RAWR!!!!!!

If you're just using them for song downloads, is their any way I can funnel my 30someodd points to you? I don't want downloads. the only thing I do want is a little $13 keychain and I don't have near enough points for that. I'm less than halfway there with a month left.

I thought the Pepsi promotion had ended already.  A friend of mine has been collecting the points.  He managed to get 8 dvds and 6 song downloads.<br /><br />Kim

I remember the days when people bought soft drinks just to have something to drink.

Companies have being doing these types of promotions for longer than most people remember.  I remember when I was kid that Dr. Pepper did a promotion on their bottle caps where you could win a t-shirt, hat or mug and you went to JC Penney's to redeem the caps for your prize.<br /><br />Kim
