TOPIC: The Chainmaille Wench

Re: The Chainmaille Wench 17 years 2 months ago #25

It would be very easy to attach multiple wrapped tokens to a necklace. I'll find some pics of some necklaces with similar items and post links for y'all to look at. I could also experiment with a sash of some type.

I only recommend doing this with armor and "non-consumable" tokens. And it wouldn't work for weapons, as they have to be put in the token sliders.
something hit me, I like the idea of tokens being readily accessible and not in a bag. Maybe have a belt or a sash of tokens that a player may need in a room and able to look at easily. Also and I apologize if these have already been listed a place to hold what tokens someone may be wearing as armor or weapons.

I don't mean to de-rail Heidi's thread...so if there are any further comments on the subject, this should have its own Topic.
I was thinking the same thing in the last two days. I am hoping to find or create some sort of holder to be attached to a belt. I'd like to see something like coin holders where you put one in at the top (or in the case the side) and each token inserted would push the bottom of the stack and spring back into the cartridge. In that manner, you could have a stack of arrows/bolts or spells at the ready...even gold. Simply pull one off the stack and the spring pushes the rest forward.

If that's what you mean and if there's more to say, let's start a new Topic.

Brian,
Once you go to the checkout page, what you do is scroll down further, and you should see Don't have a paypal account. That will let you pay with a credit card.

IMPORTANT NOTE - The website Joyus did for me isn't set to calculate the discount for the specials I mention in the first post. If you want to take advantage of those, please email or PM me your order, and I'll send you a paypal invoice. Be sure to give me your email and mailing address, and let me know if you want to send me the token, or wait until Indy to get the wrap. (I will also be at Star Wars Celebration IV if you are going and want to get it there.)

I have almost finished a few necklace chain samples for people who want a matching/coordinating chain. I'm still working on the pricing, but hope to have it posted in a day or two.

Just saw this. Nice. I think I might be knowing where yer getting your stuff. I was the chainmaille guy for the convention circuit for a few years, been doing it a looooong time. If you ever need or want any kind of input or an idea bouncer or whatnot, I'd be happy to.
