Jeez, maybe my package can arrive before it is delivered.

If the post office had time travel, that would be epic!

The one thing I have learned from all time travel movies is that if any one had time travel it would be terrible...lol.

If the Post Office had time travel, they would figure a way to make deliveries slower.
NOW this is the Law of the Jungle — as old and as true as the sky;
And the Wolf that shall keep it may prosper, but the Wolf that shall break it must die.

As the creeper that girdles the tree-trunk the Law runneth forward and back —
For the strength of the Pack is the Wolf, and the strength of the Wolf is the Pack.

Got my shipping notice today. I wonder if the vortex will snag my box?

Oh, it'll snag it for sure. The only question is whether it can quickly escape or not.

Also important that it escapes in the right direction.

My shipping status is currently “Shipment Received, Package Acceptance Pending” I have never seen this particular update before. I think it means USPS has the package but not scanned it into the system. Odd they haven’t done so. Who knows…

It will get here when it gets here. Not worried yet.

Too early to be worried, but not too early to be hopeful. My package was in acceptance pending status for almost 12 hours before it was officially accepted and then less than two hours later it appeared in St. Louis. It now appears to be stuck in the vortex. My last package had to depart 4 times before making it out. The two packages prior to that were never scanned as departed and then suddenly appeared at my local PO. I can always hope that's the case here. If not, I can expect to see several attempts over the next 24 hours to get out of St. Louis.

Mine was lucky enough to have escaped the SLV in a scant 14 hours. Now to face the horrors of the Indy Annex.

I got one of those time oddities as well. I just got the notification "Your order has been scheduled for shipment." today at 3pm eastern, but the package has been in St. Louis since 4am today.

The mystery deepens.

Mine has been sitting in St. Louis for 14 hours. No sign of escape yet. That's actually good news. Two of the last three shipments arrived in St. Louis and then went "off the grid" for 24 hours before showing up at my local PO the next morning getting ready for delivery. The other kept getting scanned in and out 4 times before finally following the traditional path and taking an extra day to get here. Scheduled delivery is Saturday, but I'm crossing my fingers for maybe seeing it on Friday. A little over a year ago it would have made it here by Thursday, but those days are starting to fade from memory.
