TOPIC: NFL Eliminator

Just a heads up everyone, looks like Covid is starting to impact the games. That's three out for the Titans at least, potentially more for them and the Vikings, and two games that may or may not happen. www.cnn.com/2020/09/29/us/tennessee-titans-nfl-covid-cases-spt/index.html

*laugh* so, is it possible to pick the Titans to not lose this week?

I was going to pick a team I picked before, but was unaware that wasn’t allowed. Why is that?

It’s the general twist to eliminator rules to increase the challenge. Otherwise, in many recent seasons, you could safely pick New England or Green Bay most weeks and cruise to week 17 with most players not eliminated.

I was thinking it was along those lines. So I’m hoping I made a good choice this week.

The Steelers/Titans game is being postponed to later this season. Any Survival pick for that game will not be counted and will be considered an incorrect pick. If you have picked one of these teams for Survival this week, please make another pick.

EDIT: Good fortune appears to have come my way.

We have now reached the worst part of Eliminator Football, where all of the early picks survived and those of us on a late game can hope for no better than to be in exactly the same position we were going in to the week.
