TOPIC: Fantasy Football 2020

In response to Tim's (I think, if I got Endgame's RL name wrong, I'm sorry) idea of TE balance, I need to run the #'s but my gut feeling is .5 for RB, 1 for WR, and 2 for TE/QB per reception. First downs may help a lot but I need to find a site where that is tracked.

4th downs I wouldn't want to award points for because a good player should not be getting many of those.


Also Mike, I'm up for co-comish duties if you don't get any other volunteers.

Another Also, and this may be on purpose, Our current scoring has bonuses for stupendous games (400 yd passing, 200 yd rushing/receiving), are you planning on jettisoning that? Personally I don't like it since it is pretty arbitrary but I wanted to confirm.

I was looking at the Cam Newtons, Teddy Bridgewaters, Sam Darnolds, Drew Lock, Carson Wenz group. Guys that started a lot, and aren't very good.

I was planning on getting rid of the great game bonuses, or reducing them.

maybe rather than doing first downs (if I can't find a free site that does them) I could go .5 RB, 1 WR, 2 TE ppr.

basically I want to reward good players at QB and punish worse players, and make QBs more valuable, since they are probably the most important position in sports, and in FF they are probably one of the least.

Keeper settings would be great, so it doesn't need to be done manually.

And Tony if you want to Co-commish that would be great.

I'll run the #'s on them but most of them have missed games so we will have to look at points per game. Cousins, Mayfield did start every week so I'll include them also.

Also, with the stated goal of upping the value of QB's keep the 6 pts per passing touchdown answers that, and since that is the stated goal, dropping the subject.

Mike, thanks for organizing this league. I enjoyed my first year and look forward to more. You are all good enjoyable to be in the league with.

Regarding Dynasty/Keeper leagues:
I was in a keeper league that turned into a dynasty league. I hated the dynasty league and left the league after more than 10 years. It was just not fun after a while. I don't like Dynasty leagues and would prefer not to do another.
Keeper leagues I do like. I'm in another one now where it is an auction style. We can keep up to 4 players. We are doing it where you pay +$5 of what you payed for the player the previous year. So if you drafted or picked a player up on waivers for $1 last year, you pay $6 to keep them the following year.
If a player was traded, the +$5 rule applies based on what was last paid for that player.


I'm okay with this league staying as it is, and would join a new keeper format league as well. And I like the auction style format for this league, and a keeper league.

Unfortunately we neglected the fact that there won't be modules this year.
