I dont know about a waiver wire limit, but they have a budget you can set.

Change me to support move to yahoo, or whatever is the most preferred to swap

I see the accepted trade, however if I approve it right now it will fail. Remind me Tuesday and I will approve it.

Also if we switch I would like to get rid of Kickers/Defenses and maybe add a Superflex... what do people think?

I personally like defenses but I am in the league no matter what so I can roll either way. Kickers I can do without. Superflex seems a good way for Mahomes to go for 50 but I am not opposed to it.

I’m not a big Superflex fan but will be willing to play in any format on whichever site people prefer.

Even if we go for Superflex I would like some sort of Def represented - whether Teams or some IDP players.

For me I really don't like kickers any more for fantasy football... I think the NFL has gotten so far away from playing defense that the team's defense doesn't matter so much as the offense that they are playing against. But if I could only get rid of one kicker would be it

I would prefer to keep both kicker and defense. That said, I would ask that the negative scoring potential from both positions be removed. In the current scoring format all but the best defenses are at risk for scoring negative points, which means you may be better off not playing a D at all. No negative points (or only negative starting at 50 points / 600 yards) lets you take a flier on a good game matchup for a previously unplayable team. As an example, the NFC east division games all have potential for a good D score, but you wouldn’t dare play it due to the chance for -10 points.

Kickers tend to have a fairly reliable performance - I had tucker as the top performing kicker pre season, and I believe he is number 2 in points scored. There is strategy to be had in drafting a K, but they too depends on them not scoring negative points because of fluke weather or just a bad day.

The problem I have with a defense is that it's not based on individual skills as are the offensive players. It would be great if we could choose an individual linebacker, cornerback, safety, etc to form a defense - and that scoring categories were selected to be balanced so that a great performance nets 20-30 points, and an average performance 8-15 as with the other players. I don't think any league does that.

Having said all that, I don't mind playing a D - but do agree with other comments here whereby in our (ESPN) league scoring, the negative scoring is broken in my opinion. I've played Yahoo leagues for several years, and very rarely does your D go negative.

Kickers are quirky, and can sometimes make the difference needed to win a matchup, so I am not opposed to them.

Bottom line is I am happy to play with whatever the group decides - but if presented with a choice wold choose Yahoo (the only other platform I have played on) over the ESPN platform.

I dont care if we keep kickers or not, keep defenses or not, or if we play on yahoo or ESPN.

There is an IDP option of course, and we could set the starting lineups however we wanted.

I've never done one, and wouldn't necessarily want to start.

The ability to go negative is a reason to consider not playing a D. Its a real consideration that I actually don't mind.

I've tried superflex and it's a different experience. The QB's are more valuable than virtually any other player - in an 8 team league it might work, the more managers you have, the fewer possible QBs can be picked. Everyone seems to pick 3 QBs in superflex so you run out of teams quickly.

I am ok with Kickers - it is more a representation of how high scoring a team is or a representation of how bad they are at finishing drives (Denver and Buffalo this week were good examples of that). Maybe have kickers but not count extra points and have longer field goals worth more?

I would love to have an IDP position. With an auction league, you can't plug and play for match-ups, though. If we had a $0 bid option - that would make IDP really interesting as you could look at specific match ups.

I'm commish of a 12 team, super flex, snake draft league, and it's really my preferred way of handling flex. QBs become a more important concern during draft (there won't be many good ones floating on the waiver wire) and it opens a legit option for drafting QB early instead of sitting until mid to late draft to get a QB. With a thin bench (I do a 5 man bench) you really have to weigh if you want to roster a 3rd QB who is probably low end average to terrible or have backups at the other skill positions. Almost all teams have 2 QBs on the roster, but its not uncommon to see that super flex spot end up with a RB or WR in it.
