Ahh, notice that is why Jeff doesn't have a kicker right now. I officially abstain from an opinion on the waiver situation since I am the one going against Jeff.

I am more familiar with Yahoo, and do prefer the waivers on Yahoo - so if we’re looking to move, I would support Yahoo.

I play in leagues on all three sites - and enjoy them all. I don’t care for NFL’s mobile app - yahoo and espn are both better in that regard. But I will follow wherever the league goes

As for waivers - I feel tie break should go reverse positional order always - but then I usually have $ leftover so can bid higher if I REALLY want somebody. If I bid $1 and lose I just resubmit for someone else

Unrelated note, one of the scenarios we feared might happen before the season just happened. The entire starting offensive line for the raiders got put on the Covid list this week. Definitely a good week to start the Tampa Bay Defense.

I would have loved to have seen Carr's face (Raider's QB) when the coach told him that his starting O line for the Sunday game will be practice squad guys and scrubs off the street.

I believe they are all just being held out for safety, but if they pass their screen on Saturday, they can play Sunday.

If they just tested positive, it's unlikely they could test negative within 3-4 days. More importantly, NiH recommends a minimum of 10 days from a positive test to when you should possibly be exposed to anyone else if you are asymptomatic (longer if you are symptomatic.) More than half of people who test positive that are asymptomatic will fail to test negative at 10 days. 30%-40% will still test positive at 3 weeks.

The standard rule of thumb is two consecutive negative tests at least 24 hours apart to allow someone to leave isolation/quarantine.

My guess is they could be tested Saturday and Sunday and if both tests are negative, be clear to go.

I was going to start Tampa Bay anyway. The bigger question is do I dare start Josh Jacobs when there is no offensive line.

For the rest of the season I am going to keep the waivers like they are currently working. As for next year's platform we will have to see, from talking with co-workers and seeing on here, yahoo seems to be the most likely path if we switch.

I think I am in favor of switching for the purely selfish reason of diversifying my experience.

I'm down to switch because my other league and the eliminator are both yahoo.

One less app.

Rather than posting a poll on ESPN's site about moving from ESPN's site, I am collecting a list of opinions in one place. Let me know if I don't correctly record your opinion.

Tim - wants to switch to Yahoo
Fred - preference is Yahoo
Tony - preference to switch to give him a different experience
Cliff - support Yahoo switch
Cary - Doesn't care (doesn't like NFL mobile app)
Wade - wants to move, yahoo first choice.

Fred K wrote: A note on Yahoo, I am in my other league there. As near as I can tell, you can’t set a minimum waiver bid (meaning you can bid $0.) It means you play the waiver a bit differently since you can spend all your waiver money and still pick players nobody else wants. For this season, it has worked really well with the much higher number of transactions needed due to Covid changes.

I have only tried the NFL site one once, it was ok as well,

My preference is Yahoo.

Fred

I don't know if we want to do this or if it even matters but does yahoo support a # of transaction limit to keep the waiver wire from being truly insane?
