So what do you want for Jacobs?

His potential stock went up. I have faith in his ability to piss off another coach and it to return to where it should be. See Antonio Brown Rule.

I am looking to upgrade at either TE or WR and have a good RB1-2 to trade and/or that RB1-2 plus a TE or WR for a strong TE1 or WR1.

My trade app across the board says I should trade you Ertz + another player for either Mixon or Henry + another player.

Ex Ertz + Kupp for Mixon + Godwin.

Lets make a deal.

Erntz is currently 15th in points total and 22nd points average. Hockensten from Detroit (my current TE) is 2 ranks above him on total points and 10 higher in average. I have Goeddert scheduled to come back in a couple weeks that would further decrease Erntz's value as well.

Erntz's relative value right now is equivalent to an RB3 as he is lower in avg points than the waiver wire. No chance of trading an RB1 for him.

Godwin and Cupp have similar average points so far this year. Any inclusion of them is just based on guesses for how they will do in the 2nd half. With TB having among the easiest schedules for WR's coming up, I'll stick with him.

Both Henry and Mixon are in the top 10 and top 15, respectively, and are nearly 10 points above waiver talent available. A starting RB1 is exceptionally hard to replace. Even Montgomery is a top 25 RB based on points and he's on an upswing since Cohen went down (18 points in the most recent game since Cohen was injured.)

When you look at a trade, your total points should go up - ideally for both sides. Any starting proposal should begin there or have a great reason for it (like a new starter, injuries, etc.).

Posting quickly from my phone, but I think you’re drastically over valuing Mixon in that analysis. He is a matchup dependent boom or bust player with likely a 10 point / game average. He is currently benefiting from a single large game to pad otherwise unremarkable season thus far. Given your depth at rb, Mixon has as much value on your roster as Ertz has on mine.

Mixon has been top 15 for both 2018 (10th) and 2019 (11th). This year, he is currently 10th. He also has a passing game for the first time reducing the times he faces 9 or 10 men in the box against him. Henry also benefits from a similar scenario (why Henry's stats improved when Tannehill took over.) Mixon also benefits HUGELY from a creampuff schedule to end the season where he faces 1 legit defense from weeks 10-16 (Pit) - he faces Pit, Was, NYG, MIA, Dal, Pit, Hou.

I'm pretty sure it isn't just a single game as to why ESPN, Yahoo, NFL Network, and FantasyPros (gathering ratings from most of the other sources) all have him rated as one of the top 10 RB's for the season(same with Henry.) I'll err on the side of every major Fantasy source that he's substantially more valuable than Erntz. Erntz might recover but he's fading fast. Fantasypro's assessment of him, right now, is "Ertz can't be trusted for fantasy football anymore. He always has the potential to emerge and get back to being a fantasy star, but he can't be put in your starting lineup anymore. He's hurting your lineup more than helping it.
Kyle Yates - FantasyPros"

Yes, I do have depth at RB but could start Mixon or Henry at flex any week and be pretty confident in the results. I wouldn't have that kind of confidence in Erntz right now - even worse for Erntz is Goeddert is coming back soon (who averaged 11 pts/game in the 3 games he played (including the one he was injured in) whereas Erntz with Goeddert gone has only averaged 9.) I would consider trading one of the two but it would need to be for a top 5 player in a position where I am weak that would result in a net increase in points.

I drafted Erntz in another league - I haven't started him since week 3 and am actively trying to trade him away hoping name recognition might help increase his value.

In my experience, FF trades are notoriously difficult.

Each manager has to feel they're getting the slightly better end of the deal for one to happen.

Whether that's upgrading your WR 2 to a WR 1.5 while giving up what you feel is likely to be your RB 3.5 going forward or whatever, it only works if both parties value players differently in a way that benefits them.

Take Ertz in the above example. If opinions on him were reversed, a deal might happen.

Otherwise, "The devil you know beats the devil you don't," and all that.

I'll be taking a look at your roster Fred. Anyone you're interested from mine?

It is really auction leagues that have a hard time to trade, because everyone drafted whom they wanted!

As for the tight ends
Kelce probably has RB1 value
Kittle probably has RB1.5 value
Ertz probably has RB3 value

This is my opinion.

That being said I would trade Bell and Schultz for Kittle.
