For all those players needing a True Dungeon fix, I may have some help for you!

Announcing Cogwind's Revenge 6.0!

The new revision includes over 80 new equipment tokens, plus ingredient tokens and the start of a new module set. Abyssal Swamp is now playable, and provided with the update. New slots have been added for beads, additional ioun stones and additional charms.

The app is compatible with iPads from iPad2, iPad Air and everything since. IOS 8.1 or later. Base code updates make it compatible with IOS 13. Starting soon, it will also be available for MacOS 10.15 or later, so you can play on MacBooks or iMacs. (or Mac Pro's if you have one) I am working on the last details with Apple for the MacOS release. I will post when it is available.

I also expect another rev to launch in 4-6 weeks with Path of Death and Infernal Redoubt. That rev will also include new transmutes include Bead of the Lucky Traveler, and Orion's Belt. The ingredients will be essential for those builds. The module sets Behold Her Majesty and Moongate Maze have been modified to include ingredients from 2018, which will also be required for the new transmutes. You cannot buy ingredients, you get one or more ingredients when you complete each module. The harder the setting, the more ingredients you get.

Enjoy!

Thanks
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

Ok. Stick a fork in it. The MacOS version of Cogwind's Revenge is available for download.

It's the same app with the same modules including Moongate Maze, Behold Her Majesty and of course, Abyssal Swamp. So if you do not have an iPad, but do have a MacBook or iMac, you can enjoy this True Dungeon simulation.

I was going to send you a PM but figured I'd ask it here. I'm a terrible slider which is part of the reason I play Wizard but when sliding in your game, I inevitably get one of two results and can't seem to figure out a happy medium. My question is how do I achieve a happy medium?
My two slide results are either the puck seems to hit molasses and never makes it to the target OR it flies wildly fast off the table.

Actually, I made a modification to the latest rev to help that. The puck movement past the line is dependent on the average velocity during your finger stroke. I modified that to not start until your finger actually slides forward. So you can now place your finger on the ipad; the puck will show up, and then you can slide. It makes it a bit easier, and makes the MacOS version easier to use.

The other method for iPads, is to start with your finger on the black outline of the pad, which is beyond the touch area, and start sliding from there. I find it easier to keep a steady slide starting off the board.

I hope it helps

Version 6.1 of Cogwind's Revenge has now been released and is available for update or install from the Apple Store. It continues to be a free app. The following changes are included:

- Added 2 new modules: Path of Death and Infernal Redoubt
- Added 2 new Transmute equipment tokens: Bead of the Lucky Traveler and Orion's Belt
- Added more access to Ingredient equipment tokens with the new modules
- More ingredients are available with the Moongate Maze and Behold Her Majesty module sets

For MacOS installs, I have corrected a problem with Trade Tokens. How selection is done on a table on a Mac is different than in IOS and it created issues with selecting tokens for Trade Items. That has been corrected.

Primarily this release is for the rest of the E-Series Modules, including 'Path of Death' and 'Infernal Redoubt', with all your favorites. Something to tide you over until the Patron Event or the Virtual True Dungeon at the end of July!

Enjoy!
