We had enough interest in the last version, another is in the plan for this year.

We are beginning the planning for this version, which is due out in September. It will include a new 3 module set with 'Moongate Maze', 'Dancing Among Stones' and a Grind adventure. It will include a selection from the 2018 token set, including some of the 2018 transmutes.

I wanted to give players an opportunity to comment on other features they are looking for. (besides an Android version. Sorry, not in the plan)

Is it time to start removing some of the older modules? The app is getting kind of big, and the intro screen is getting a little crowded.

Are the combat rooms too easy or too hard?

Thanks
Tom

Rather then removing old modules, could you make a new app with the new stuff? Or is that impractical?
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

Thanks for making the character generator on Android, though. It's been an invaluable resource.

The Transmuter is out for Android, at least. Although I have not seen much activity on it yet.

You would lose your token inventory, if it is a new app. If players want the older modules to remain, it is not that big a deal to leave them. I just didn't want it to be confusing with all the modules.

Maybe I will set up a 2nd menu tier, with the module set names listed on the main screen, and the individual modules listed after the module set is selected. I will have to think about that. I may be able to get some space savings by reorganizing the graphic files.

The new version of Cogwind's Revenge has been submitted for approval. Lots of changes.

- 3 new modules: Moongate Maze, Dancing Among Stones and Expedition to the Planes.
- Over 100 new token entries, including new Transmutes and our first Legendary Transmute. All from the 2018 token set.
- Improved graphics! New icon, main screen graphic, and better graphics on the new puzzles
- Added a new option to buy a specific Ultra-Rare. More gold required, but when you need that one token for a transmute, it's a must.
- New creatures with new abilities

The puzzles came out pretty close to those in the actual modules.

I'm not sure how long the approvals will take. Normally, they happen pretty fast, but with all the changes, it may take up to a week. We will see.

A bug fix has been released for Cogwind's Revenge.

There were 2 issues that came up recently. In the Treasure Box, especially with the larger iPad Pro, the user could select an area outside of the treasure box which ended up in a program crash. This has been corrected.

The second issue relates to the slider board. It has been possible to start the token outside of the slider board (actually anywhere), but it doesn't slide very far. In very specific circumstances this can cause the physics engine to crash. It's also kind of odd behavior. The correctly was to only allow the tokens to start near the starting end of the slider board. Anywhere else is not recognized. The player does not lose the turn, The token just will not start until your finger has touched down on the slider board at the beginning end of the board.

Both corrections are now available in version 5.1, which has been released.
