We had a dorm-mate rule in college - if any of us EVER went on a TV dating game type show - the other three would hunt that person down and beat some sense into them...

I wonder where MA's roomies are? =D

It's TRUE!

I'm on "Who Wants To Be a Superhero?" and I LOVE TRUE DUNGEON!!!

When my wife, Sarah, and I played for the first time, I had such a great time that I couldn't get it out of my head! I had to write an 8-page poem about it, and post it on the forums, in order to release all that excitement!

Just ask Jeff - I think he still remembers where it is...

We went last year and took two friends (SoCal), and you can bet your super-booties that we are going again this year!!!

I hope everyone has a GREAT time in Indy! Sorry I can't be there!

Thanks to those of you watching the show and rooting us all on! Hope you are enjoying it!!!

Maybe we can pitch a show, "Who Wants To Be a Level 12 Paladin?" I don't know if they'd go for it... but hey - we can try!

Matthew Atherton a.k.a.
Feedback

The official site is at:
www.scifi.com/superhero

Best of Luck...

Hey didn't you pitch a micro-adventure to Jeff and Lee at the riddle reveal - whatever happend to that?

Would it ever be something you think you can publish as a written module - or is it too hands on?

G

Fantastic. You look more like a superhero than any of the others. I know it is probably already in the can, but best of luck to you. So far it looks to me as if Monkey Girl is your toughest competition.

Love the concept of Who Wants to be a 12th Level Paladin.

Widseth

Yeah! It was lovingly known as "True Box"....

After the Riddle Reveal last year, Jeff and couple other guys pitted their wits against an array of obscure clues, padlocks, puzzles and trick boxes that I had set up....

I think they had fun... I just wanted to do something for Jeff because hey - he makes all of these great adventures for us, but who makes the adventures for him?

Hope you guys really have fun in Indy - don't you DARE tell me anything about it! I love pitting my wits against the traps and riddles of True Dungeon, and it literally makes my year!

My ultimate dream is to find a permanent home for True Dungeon! A place where people can go out for a night of adventure, any weekend of the year! (And, we could film "Who Wants To Be a 12th Level Paladin?" there... we'll kill two birds with one stone...)

Matthew

Perm home would be cool - it would have to be a dinner show kind of thing...have people gather in a tavern for a "Medieval Times" type meal then send them on their way...that would be sweet.

As for taking Jeff and co. on adventures - I'm pretty sure we players give some great entertainment and who says we can throw room/puzzle/monster/token ideas their way...I bet they appreciate it all.

Widseth is totally right you are the most "super looking" superhero of the bunch!

Cool, I have to admit I'm rooting for Feedback also. A lot of those players don't seem like they really know anything at all about being a superhero.

As the represenative pixie here, I would just like to say, Do not blame Creature on us fairy folk!
That is a vicious fabrication, we would never unleash such poor costuming and bad eye makeup on earth's denizens!

Feedback -

Good to see a fellow gamer is on the show. Hope no one takes this the wrong way, but at first I thought the show (WWTBAS) would be too stupid to watch. I was flipping channels at night however and caught what must have been the 2nd or so episode - but my first. The characters had already been established - so I missed that. They explained Rotiart. The next challeng was a classic. I don't have time to explain it right now (at work and trying to go home!) for those who didn't see it, but here are some of my thoughts.

1) Monkey Woman deserves great applause. She was the only one I saw who changed into her outfit by truly following her character. She climbed a tree and changed in the tree top!

2) Feedback looked like one of the only persons who actually might have really cared about having missed seeing the little girl who was crying out for help. It looked like you were chiding yourself and that it truly bothered you that you missed it. Assuming this wasn't an act (as some others truly seemed to be with the other contestants - such as Monkey Woman crying for having messed up), then you deserve applause for being an honorable person. I'm sure it's easy to get caught up in the excitement. Just need to remember to BE the superhero. Good luck to you.

Oh, and in case I didn't make it clear, I ended up enjoying watching the show. There were some redeeming qualities about it (namly the big guy (I'm not a comic book person so don't know the name of the guy running the show) seems to be out to find a true super hero).

JKW
