It's a d6+1 drum stick. Usable by all.

Basically goggles of seeking for guns rather than slings plus a little damage boost because much like goggles of seeking this isn't really going to get a ton of use in high gear tier play and it doesn't really seem breaking for low gear tier play.

Alternatively to the damage boost, maybe something like 'cannot be blinded by nonmagical light'. Has a chance to kick in if a room is ever designed to be moving from dark to bright light and requiring a fort save or you lose your first round of combat. This would be more thematic, but maybe less enticing for players to equip.


How about something like "Reroll Slug weapon damage on a misfire (1/round)"? Maybe that'd be better as an effect on an upgraded version at UR or 4* though.

Then again... while a dage reroll is simple in VTD, that might be problematic when we're back to physical TD.

The 2011 Rare offhand Brawler's Mug was +2 Melee damage and available in ten-packs. This feels close enough to also just be a ten-pack Rare. The Orb has additional benefits. Like being a weapon for some classes and potentially helping someone get 5th level.

Ah, I thought both brawlers mug and brawlers horn were completion tokens. Didn’t realized the mug came in 10 packs.

In that case, i would say either the hook or the parrying blade would be good this year, but both would be necessary.

Can sing bard song and cast spells.

This is a rare version of Briano’s. It lets the bard do more than sing, but misses out on the damage bonus from Briano’s . Paired with songbird and Fae blowgun Flute, you could have a bard be very active at the rare level of tokens.

Rare bard instruments that allow a particular thing seem reasonable (+1 fae blowgun flute, Lyre of lore).
Lyre of lore adds a damage bonus too. Though lore is arguably less important to the party on a 2nd playthrough.

Agreed that of all the things a bard can do (lore, spell, scroll, melee, ranged) lore is probably the weakest, so having a +2 damage on lyre of lore is reasonable. I could possibly see a instrument +scroll adding one damage, but with the new scroll items boosting damage even that is probably unnecessary.
