Origins - dumped in hallway not near entrance.

Gen Con - dumped in hallway not near entrance.

At least that's been my experience.

PAX South was a good exit. Only one I can remember in many years tho.

I understand space is a premium, but the first 2 rooms of FF were way too small. My first run through it I was in the back of my party (somebody has to be) and I was totally lost. Any prologue in the one room was over by the time I got into the room. The only clue I had to what we were fighting in the one room was from the silhouette on the board. I saw no animation.

Despite my early confusion, FF still turned-out to be one of my favorite dungeons ever.

Also, I was thankful the D&D Adventurer's League was cool with TDers sitting down at there empty tables for 10-15 minutes after a run, we asked the first time and they were super cool and said go ahead. It let us reset quickly.

Early Thursday the exit was UNMARKED and covered with a black wall curtain and the Epilogue people were ignoring a player rolling into a panic attack due to being unable to find an exit.

Said player dropped all their remaining event tickets and isn't planning to attend again. at least partially due to that.

That's very unfortunate and I'm sure absolutely unintentional on the part of TD. If you know the person's contact info, I'm sure the PTB would love a chance to make it up to them.

I think the choice of the word ignoring here is a bit aggressive. I would be surprised if they didnt also have several other things they were doing, and simply didn't notice

I will say that I licked the strawberry ice cream cone in Ava's room. literally shocked that it wasn't a tasty treat and couldn't talk in the next room.

-the exit was kind of wonky, but I understand for making the rest of the layout work.
-gm's and npc's did great. coaches/trainers were awesome.
-I liked the space between the room being big enough for the group to fit without being cramped.
-there was some weirdness with ticket sales. it seems there was a few times some tickets were double sold?
-the rooms' intro dialogue is getting close to being to long.
-I also liked the idea of the 20packs in the epilogue.
- also really loved the size of the con. laid back and peaceful. ;)

I like the that many of the intro's were recorded and played with amplification making the rooms more clear. I didn't like that you could hear those intro's in adjacent rooms. Not sure there is a fix for that though.

I sincerely disagree. I get why many would like this, but I definitely prefer chips.

I STRONGLY prefer chips.

I would much rather get all my runs done, hit the counter, exchange chips one time and sort at the end of my day without carrying extra stuff all day.

They were actively supposed to be checking out the group the player was in. he was having issues, was asking, multiple times, how to exit the room, and received no help from the Epilogue crew.

By the time a random vol walking by noticed the issue and helped find the exit the damage had been done.

They also have about 10 other things to do, and don't necessarily have the training to know when things aren't going right.

I am genuinely sorry that this happened to anyone, though if something like this can trigger such an event ion the relatively large epilogue room, should that person really be going through the dungeon where there are many other cramped spaces and occasionally things pop-jumping out at you in the first place?

Ignoring has an implication that they knew what to do and chose not to do it. Perhaps the random volunteer wasn't random, but someone they called for help?

Size of the room you are in has nothing to do with how the mind processes feeling trapped in a space without orientation and no visible exits.

It was a design mistake, it was a setup mistake, it was enough to make the player unable to play the rest of their events in TD that day.

I was good with your words until you blamed the victim of the issue and suggested maybe they just shouldn't play the game. That was not the right direction to go with a response to the issue.

The epilogue room was definitely not large this year. It was smaller than our last in person event.
