I have a question about transmuting an Eldritch Ore Bar and grouping the tokens together that are used to make it. I am assuming it is useful to do some sub-groupings for the tokens in this transmute to make it easier, if that isn't the case then the rest of this post can be ignored.

Is there any preference between grouping all tokens of the same denomination together or grouping tokens together that form reasonable totals?
The difference here is between one arrangement where all the 600GP tokens are in one sub-bag, all the 400GP in another, all the 150GP in another etc. (but the totals of the individual sub bags may be unusual) versus an arrangement where there are say 5 smaller bags, one with 10K, one worth 6K and three worth 3K (but there are potentially multiple types of tokens in each bags). I try to keep it as simple as possible, but getting enough gold together to make an Eldritch Bar for me typically means I am using basically all my gold tokens and so don't have much flexibility as far as what tokens are used, just how they are packaged.

@Druegar

Hopefully, this example is acceptable! Let me know if you would prefer it another way.

Just to calibrate expectations:
We need to transmute on the order of tens of trade goods (like 8 philosopher stones, 1 golden fleece, 5000 gp, etc.) to finish a legendary.
If we're there Thursday AM to do the trade good transmutes, will we be able to turn in the legendary transmute midday Thursday and have it in time for runs on Friday?

Thanks!

It was mentioned earlier, but you can always search out (not hard to find) veterans on Wednesday night who may help you with your initial transmutes and that way you can be sure to have your final tokens for your run. Nobody here is going to charge you for the service.

If you post the piece you are trying to make and the trade goods you need to make it's fairly likely someone can either swap the trade goods for you or swap the legendary for you so you have it in time.
