Good point, i think the trick will be ensuring the casters can survive a hit or 2 at rare level.

Also since rare psychic enablers exist what are the conditions for tooth use, with all 7 teeth it could be worth considering.

Interested. Mostly prefer combat classes but will play wizard, particularly considering the chances of actually getting a hit on epic difficulty ;D

Probably no point in even attempting combat. Unless you're good at criticals, I expect the only way to actually hit anything is to use attacks that can't miss (wands, horn of blasting, spells, retribution), assuming we can even do enough to kill something in less time than it takes to wipe the party. Also no point in maintaining an AC - something wants to hit you, expect it to hit you on anything but a 1 - UNLESS we get an encounter like in the last adventure that does more damage based on the kind of armor you're wearing. Combat avoidance, bribery, nonviolent solutions, and damage reduction look like ways to go.

At the very least we should wait until Monday. Even then pulling spoilers off site might be preferable, email chain perhaps.

yeah.
we are going to use a _lot_ of consumables.

In the three runs I did, we didn't try the optional combat, but we covered everything else pretty thoroughly, got some bonuses, and had a bard that was on the ball in analyzing the fights. Looking forward to sharing insights I might have missed.

Like to know what class I'm down for/what's open and what token strategies we're thinking as a group please. Kinda want to look at using up some ghost tokens on this if we think it'll make any difference regarding survivability odds.
