My V3A loot made it just fine from TDHQ to Chicago. But, a package from Kirk that was supposed to arrive yesterday (and was listed as “on time” the whole trip) has just been downgraded to “in transit, arriving late” with no new estimated delivery date.

I also have a package that was supposed to be delivered on November 27 that is nowhere to be found. Fortunately, that one is nothing as important as tokens. I feel terrible for the dedicated USPS workers who are trying to do their jobs while their senior management is actively making it harder.

My package is still "in transit" for 8 days now. I put in an inquiry on the USPS website. My local post office responded today. Nothing concrete, just "we are investigating and will contact you."

Mine no longer offer updates, they say in transit, arriving late as of Dec 14 and 15, leaving on 9/10 (one TA, another a golem purchase)

Well, maybe this just means we'll get a blast of packages come end of December, beginning of January, but it is odd to me that it just seems the TD packages are the ones being held up and the rest of the mail is coming at the normal clip.

For me, it has been all my packages, not just TD. Happily, my tokens arrived today, so that is one less tracking number to watch. But I am still waiting for other stuff that should have arrived already. I read this week that in order to maintain their delivery targets, FedEx and UPS are turning away business from smaller companies, which is pushing even more demand to USPS, since USPS doesn't get the option to say no.

my understanding is that regular mail is moving right along. it is just the packages that are bogging down.

has anyone heard anything to the contrary?

I feel your pain. My package is stuck in Oak Creek as well, and just lists "In Transit." I usually don't sweat this stuff too much, but over a week in the same distro center makes me think somebody lost a truck :(

Local news about Oak Creek is not encouraging.

In Cleveland it's less lost trucks and more no trucks unloading or even seemingly leaving to actually get to local offices. www.cleveland.com/news/2020/12/trucks-line-up-at-cleveland-post-office-distribution-center-as-mail-delays-mount.html

I want to send out some trades but i'm in the internal debate of do i send them out now and hope they make out by end of January or do i roll the dice and hope that if i wait till mid Jan they'll have a reasonable chance of getting out on time? Damned if i do/don't and i suspect that with the way holidays fall isn't helping either this year.
We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven

At this point I'm holding off everything until after Christmas. Just dont trust the post right now.

P.s. if you really want nerve wracking I haven't received any vtd loot yet. It's all being bundled up by a helpful friend south of the border to come in a larger end of season package. Plus my last transmute order somehow got sent out to that address as well XD

I would normally send in a transmute order with all of my VTD loot, but at this point I'm just waiting until 3B. I personally think it will be mid-Jan before the mess really gets cleaned up and have no desire to add to the misery.

Yeah, I sent some tokens to Trent last Tuesday. They made it as far as Oak Creek and then as far as I know, that's still where they are sitting. Up until last night they were expecting delivery on Saturday, now they just say "in transit" with no expected delivery.

It still seems like stuff I order through Amazon is getting here on time or at worst, a day later.

What annoys me so much is that my VTD tokens are 2 miles from my house and they may as well be in China. So annoying and literally nothing fact based on the airwaves. How much is “overwhelming amount” of packages. I mean is it so overwhelming they need to hire staff and then wait until March to get it all distributed?

The USPS is effectively radio silent. They too responded to me “we’ll look into it”
