On the one hand, it now stacks with other neck items. On the other hand, it's way beyond the power of other UR boots; it's Mithral Boots + higher Con Boots of Might combined.

I understand people didn't want multiple stat boosting neck slot items now that the Stupendous reprint is in the set. But this seems to have taken a pretty straightforward addition and made it controversial.

I very much preferred the necklace as it was the first/only Dexterity necklace option.

I would prefer the Sweetwoods go back to a Necklace so there's a dexterity based option available.

As boots they are a great option for people who don't have four winds boots.

Crud. Sorry!

It is just like the +2 Nightshade's Short Sword -- only it can be thrown (using DEX to hit and STR for damage) or used in melee fashion (STR for both). The thrown mode eliminates the need to spend one round maneuver to Sneak Attack, but then you will lose the use of the Dagger for the rest of the combat.

Does that mean the dagger also grants the ability to Sneak Attack while using it as a ranged weapon?

Charm of the Brewmaster was among my favorite. I feel your pain.

I liked its flavor but not its effect. Can it be toned done to a rare?

Doubtful as it transmutes into a relic...

I don't know why Stupendous Pendant became a token reprint. Was there demand? And why knock off the Medallion of Sweetwood (or whatever the name). I strongly encourage dropping Stu's and reverting back to the original idea of Sweetwood on the neck. As people have said, it's power level is way beyond (historic) UR boots. Sweetwood on the neck was simple, easy, right power level, and build diversity.

Hi Jeff, thanks for the revisions, here are some comments:

Charm of Fasting seems like a reasonable Cleric Charm. I see that it does stack with the Necklaces.

I doubt Charm of Power is strong enough for us to equip, but I'll take another look at 1st level spells to decide. On second thought, since it's cast as a Spell and is once per room, it might be.

Jinn's seems reasonable. I still think Druid should have access to it, since Wizards can access Shaman's Belt. If not, when we do the revisions, please remove the Wizards from the Shaman's Belt. It makes as much sense for a Druid to use a spellbook as it does for a Wizard to use a Shaman's Belt.

Speaking of Druids, I recommend adding them to Nightshade's +2 Dagger. They have been on the other +2 Daggers, including the +2 Dagger of Venom, so should be on this one as well.

Thanks for adding Poly to Ring of the Siren!

Wow, that's an impressive set! I want at least 8 of these (all 3 charms, both iouns, boots, cloak, and shirt for the muti-year) and would strongly consider several others. Aaaaand I might also need to pick up some charm bracelets.

I like how the Cleric UR stands on its own and also fits with the relic/legendary. Very elegant.

Jinn's is phrased clearly now, good revision there.

Yes, my AC is lower than the Wizard's. No regrets!

I really hate to ask this, but...

So when thrown is it a melee weapon or a ranged weapon? Think recent Ioun Stones and Cranston’s Hat. Presuming thrown, does that cause issues in coaches room? Or is that a pretty non-issue.

Does the new version of Cranston's hat boost the damage of all spells? Spells that require slides or no spells at all?

That comes back to the what counts as a Ranged attack.

IF it does boost all spells that gives me a HARD decision between that and the Crown of Expertise as it's VERY VERY strong if it boosts all spellcasting.

That would be a very hard decision for me to make (which seems like a very good spot to be on an UR token)

Charm of Fasting looks great

Charm of Power is great. Wish it was an Ioun Stone given Wizards and Clerics getting another new high value Charm this set but altogether happy with it.

Jinn's Magebook Charm seems to have picked up rare scrolls at the UR level. I like that :)

Nightshades is nice! I hope that gives Rogues a good pseudo reprint for the blade? (I know nothing about rogue items)

Ring of Sacrifice too a MASSIVE hit. I couldn't see it being used prior to this, I really can't see it now. Not sure why this was changed?

Ring of the Siren is interesting? Nice boost, good add of poly potions wands and scrolls. Unsure how much this will see use? - Will this boost the damage of things like Animal companions summoned via the Ranger Legendary? Overall seems like a nice option for Polymorph players

Charm of the Brewmaster was cut this design round and never was part of a transmute. You are thinking of a different token

Non-issue. You would equip the dagger in your ranged weapon slot. Anything that adds to ranged damage adds to it (just like any other thrown weapon, e.g., Thor's). The app actually does a really good job of this.
