I was happy about that because I didn't have to buy that UR twice just to keep the power after I transmuted.

The Relics/Legendaries released in 2019 did not stack with the base UR used to create them.
The Relics/Legendaries released in 202 did stack with the base UR used to create them.
The current designs for this year's Relics/Legendaries seems to be mixed. Two stack, one is unclear.

Thanks for the added info. That tells me that there is no precedent one way or the other and each transmute path should be designed according to what suits the individual tokens best, and let’s not worry about who can stack and who can’t.

Or - all (or maybe all but one) since 2019 did stack, so maybe the 2019 ones should be revised to stack as well.

If we are not careful, nightmare will be too easy and a sixth level of difficulty will be called for...

Already there, Nightmare is already too easy. Epic will become easy at this rate.

Boom goes the Devil Drake when this Rogue slides a 20 with a Holy Hand Grenade.

Yep, that thought had certainly crossed my mind :)
I play Rogue. Occasionally I even play Rogue well.

I would be happy either way.

Is there any plan to transmog or give a set bonus for the "of Focus" items? With these pants we now have 8 different equipable "of Focus" slots.

Crud. Sorry!

It is just like the +2 Nightshade's Short Sword -- only it can be thrown (using DEX to hit and STR for damage) or used in melee fashion (STR for both). The thrown mode eliminates the need to spend one round maneuver to Sneak Attack, but then you will lose the use of the Dagger for the rest of the combat.

I really hate to ask this, but...

So when thrown is it a melee weapon or a ranged weapon? Think recent Ioun Stones and Cranston’s Hat. Presuming thrown, does that cause issues in coaches room? Or is that a pretty non-issue.

It should be a Ranged weapon to hit, but use STR damage bonus.

I like the addition of Nightshade as a functional re-issue of the short sword for people who don’t have it.

I like that it has the dagger icon
I like the 6 numbered Damage wheel
I agree that the 5 should be changed to a 6 to make the blade more assassin character compatible.
I don’t think it’s necessary to give it the power of no 1 round delay for sneak attack because there are already numerous ways for rogues to have that, unless it’s just because it’s an acceptable UR level feature.
The throw for sneak attack feature is great. But if something had to be cut I’d rather see the no 1 round delay cut over this.

Milambus (Jake) wrote: Overall its a very nice set of tokens...

but, as a Monk there is basically nothing for me. The only Monk items are reprints or functional reprints that I already own. Sure I'll get a Nugget and probably a Sunstone for the Transmute, but other than that I have nothing to buy.

There are 7 reprints or functional reprints. Could we drop the reprint of Stu's to add something new?

Yeah...you (and lots of others) are probably right. We will move Stu's to next year. I will make up a completely new UR for that spot. Thanks.

Cross-posting from the Transmute thread, but I don't know which thread this question belongs in:

Does Charm of Power let the wizard cast the Free Action lvl 1 spell from the legendary without "marking it off the card"?

No worries. I was asking for a friend.

Thanks for working relentlessly on this. I hope you're still having fun. :cheer:
