With Stu-pendous Pendant returning, seems like save this for another year. Someone, I'm sure, could argue that having two neck slot stat pumpers in the same year cannibalize sales. I'd point out that the Year of (also) the Fighter could use another fighter token, like say Dwarven [insert word] Plate that is fighters only with lots of AC and/or special that's ... IDK, like Dwarven Fighter gets +2 Will saves or something.

Stu's just showed up in this revision. Sweetwoods is a direct response to a request for a Dex equivalent to Medallion of Valhalla. I'll admit that I'm pulling for Sweetwoods in this year's set because I was one of the people asking for it, but I'd rather see Stu's dropped than Sweetwoods.

The slot could be used for something else - maybe nightshade?

We agree once again! Is Nightshade’s too good to be reprinted? Or do we save it for another (next) year?

I think we need different art on the gloves of the Dire Bear?

Maybe fur trimmed gauntlets? I’m no artist, but I love the new art for the new ogre power gauntlets, and would like something equally awesome for the UR I’m going to buy.

Edit:

Should “shirt of the dancer” be named “Nimble Shirt” as a call back to V1?

I anticipate that Stu will be an ingredient for the Relic and Sweetwood will one of the ingredients for the Legendary.

Maybe drop Stu from the set but allow the original version to be one of the ingredients for the Relic as an alternative to Sweetwood? I'm fine with reprinting Stu's, was last printed in 2014.

+1 to Nightshades, but with the number of requests we’ve already had for it, and the fact it hasn’t been in any revision of the set, I don’t have much hope it will appear this year.

Gloves of the Dire Bear reminds me of Coronet of the Arch-Druid which allows polymorphing into a Dire Bear. I suppose it makes sense a polymorph druid would want this +4 str token.
I'm just noticing and I don't want to change the effect. +4 str gloves seems very popular.
It's probably asking for too much to add but it'd be fun to see a small poly bonus as a nod to the token name.

Its a functional reprint of Mithral Gaunlets, which has been a long standing request. Without the set bonus, but still...

Gloves of the Brute was another attempt at a functional reprint, but that was a 2015 token. So its been a while either way.

Since this is my first comment in this thread, I'm borrowing comments from other players and not quoting because I thought it would look too bulky.
Jinn's Magebook Medallion is extremely weak as a neck slot token. The versatility is definitely nice to have but it's a damage loss to equip it. Can you please put it back to being a slotless token? It's fine as slotless but needs a power buff as a neck slot item.
Agree. Jinn's Medallion in the neck slot will only be used as a transmute to the relic. If it was slotless and stacked with the relic/legendary, then it was worth picking up just to have a Spellbook. The additional common and uncommon spells would likely only be used in special circumstances. It would allow things like adding Stone to Flesh "just in case" its needed.

Running both the Relic and UR would only allow you to slot in additional common and uncommon scrolls, I don't think that would cause any stacking issues.

PLEASE add damage spells back to the Ring of the Siren. Without it there are VERY FEW players willing to equip a ring that doesn't in some way boost spell damage.
I do agree with this comment. Siren's seems quite weak now. I would not want to put this in any build.
Ring of the Siren really needs to affect spell damage and/or healing for it to be viable as a ring. Boosts purely to scrolls and wands makes it very limited.

Really like the changes to Cranston's.

I don’t like the graphic change to the bracelet

I love the artwork on Shield of the Scholar

I liked the first version of the Sunstone Shard. There are a lot of other HP increasing and Con bonus items in Just this years set as well as previous years.

Relating to Stu-pendous but also other things. I have no sense of why various tokens get chosen to be reprinted. Get things that weren't asked for at times. Things that were asked for sometimes but a lot of the time not other times.

I assume it's not just to drive a reaction when something unexpected gets included early on, as there's plenty of reactions to wade through without trying to create them for no purpose.

For instance, take MEC. Why would this not have been considered for Year of the Wizard? If a reason not to, why consider incorporating its ability into anything or why not just say "We aren't doing MEC this year." to avoid the inevitable posts about how not everyone has two?

Sure, there are only 20 slots and it seems obvious that want to keep the number of reprints pretty limited, but which couple of reprints get done just seems mysterious and not timed to coincide with themes.

Thank you for considering players at all levels and not just the "same cost as a car" setups, from those of us that are at the Schwinn Bike level.

Your analogies are awesome.

Which URs are you most excited about?

Are there any that you think are too good or not quite good enough?

Wanted to add as a Ranged Ranger that the +4 Rod of the Meek is also great for my build, will need to add those to my list as well.

Will the axe of the Dwarvish king interact With the items that buff Dwarven Weapons?

A literal reading says no.? Perhaps the intent is different?

Also, I love that axe as it is, damage wheel and limited dwarf bonus included. Don’t change a thing with it :)

Dwarven Dire Axe was my first UR. Now its even more obsolete. :) Not that I have used it anytime recently. It happens.
