Yes! I also hope, if we get another Rothfuss adventure in 2022 or 2023, we get tokens for his world's coinage.
I came here to sing and collect tokens, and I'm alllll out of money.

The Charm of Avarice isn't that much more price prohibitive than it was back when the Amulet of Treasure Finding was in print. I think it was around $1100 then, it's only gone up a couple of hundred dollars.

It's still unknown what the TE URs in 2023 and 2025 will be (new, reprint, etc), and what the Transmute will be in 2026 (although I still suspect it will be in 2025) which incorporates the 2023 & 2025 UR TEs and the AoTF (Charm of Avarice reprint, something new that stacks, something new that doesn't stack, etc). It's also unknown what comes after the 2025 TE UR (new ones, reprints, none at all?). I suspect when the 2023 set development comes out that will be a MAJOR topic of discussion, unless Jeff comes out with an announcement by then of which way he's going on it.

Short answer probably is that there's never more than 1 URTE in print at any given time and they've chosen to create new ones vs reprinting older ones.

And yes, Mike Steele is correct. The cost to create a Charm of Avarice at the time of printing was around $1000-1100.

They currently sell for $1250

Fred K wrote: Reprints:
UR
+2 staff of power
+2 nightshades
+2 assassin’s crossbow (but only do it or nightshades in a single year then wait 1-2 years for the other)
Stu’s mug
Figurines: phoenix, panther, cat
Bracers of guided strike
Ektars’s tool
Runestone fitting base

Rare:
+2 cloak of protection
Censer of sacrifice
Scroll of corpse conversion
Scroll of loki’s blessing (but renamed to the current theme)

Uncommon:
Frostnut or new elemental variation of it (lightningnut?)
Scroll of water breathing

Common:
Gear like chalk, water, crowbar

Censer of Sacrifice was a completion token, so that’s unlikely.

Do you mean +2 Cloak of resistance? There aren’t any cloaks of protection.

Gear at common hurts new players who are playing out of a 10 pack. For the last few years we’ve seen one gear/GP token that transmutes at common - if you want to see common gear I’d propose something like that.

I’d suggest we take the inevitable centithread that will arise out of this question to its own note :)

Depends on where you look and when. I’ve bought 2 in the last year for 1000-1100.
$10 off at Trent Tokens!

I agree with everything on the list.

Honestly I think Jeff either needs to reprint the Mithral Gauntlets or he needs to state officially that they will never be reprinted because they come up on the list constantly.

I would say the most asked for reprints are
1. Mithral Gauntlets
2. +2 Sacred Sling
3. Shield of the Scholar
4. Mad Evoker's Charm
5. Gloves of the Flying Fist
6. +2 Staff of Power
7. Nightshade's +2 Short Sword

Not necessarily in that order.

Newer tokens that seem to have become recently popular include
Earcuff of Orbits
Ioun Stobe Topaz Trilliant
Ioun Stone Sapphire Prism
Assassin's Crossbow

I have never seen a volunteer token or completion token reprinted. The closest was boots of shocking vs. Inferno step.

Not has a UR token been reprinted once it became part of a legendary recipie unless one counts the +1 mighty shortbow, which isnt a specific requirement.

I'd like to see an Ekdtar's reprint.
Charm Necklace would be nice.
Druegar's death die would likely be quite popular.
All the class specific FoPs, specifically owl and phoenix, though I'm also in the market for dragon and tortoise.
I'd like UR Special, but I suspect I'm in the minority.

It would be fun to find gold in the treasure

I suspect the last few were an effort to help.out those with a censer of sacrifice

Topaz trilliant is a 2012 token - making it one of the older ones.

I’d prefer to see it not reprinted though because it steps on the volunteer ioun from... 2017?
