If people are willing, I'd like to start the group discussion on the difficulty setting for our run so we can all reach agreement.

I suggest Hardcore. New software and new ways of solving puzzle rooms means that some of our room-time will be spent getting used to the new system. I'm confident that at the Hardcore difficulty level (particularly with the wonderful buffing) we will all win to the end with glorious slayage even if glitches happen or online sound is sometimes unclear. Facing Nightmare with learning-curve-time lost and at least half of our 10 running Hardcore-level builds? Not so much.

What do the rest of you think?

I'll have run once on Friday night already, so I'm fine to run HC or NM.

OK, that's 7 for Hardcore, 3 for either Hardcore or Nightmare, so unless anyone would like to add more to the topic it sounds like we're going Hardcore.

On to group tactics. For our part:
- Three of my group's four will have gone through the adventure at the Normal level on Saturday. So we will recuse ourselves from any puzzle solution suggestions unless asked by people who have not been on the run before.
- If anyone has a particularly cool Power or Spell they want the Cleric to Restore in the boss room, please let me know and I'll give him the heads-up.
- The Druid plans to blast twice then heal in combat rooms, but has a stock of Asp Polymorph potions for creative uses (e.g. slipping through crevices, climbing trees, etc.).

Hi All,
A little bit over a week away. Do we have a Charm of Awakened Synergy and Avarice count for the group? Or corresponding individual pieces (Charm of Synergy)? Using the app, we need to input the number of players with said items.
John CoA CoAS
Spud CoA CoAS

Also, John and I do have a large stock of assorted healing and other potions. We have our 1st run on friday afternoon. Hoping to be masters of VTD by the time of this run, Let us know if there is any other token needed for the group not listed. There's treasure to be had.

Spud
I'm not going to lie to you, I've been drinking .....

Our Barbarian will be running with a Charm of Awareness borrowed from Spud, and that's it for us.

FYI that character class selection is now live at td.events. I see that a few people have already chosen!
