1. Are there details available for how the combat system works in VTD? My curiosity ran wild when I read about crits with a D10...will extended crit ranges work on a 1-for-1 basis? Allowing a rogue with the legendary amulet to crit 40%?

2. "Jeff made me give this to you.". I love this idea.

3. Regarding sound and headphones: will the audio have any right/left component? Meaning, if I only have one ear bud in, will I miss something?

4. Are we allowed to double log in? I want to use my laptop to see on a larger screen, but it is really old and would be awkward to use it's camera for anything (if it even works), so I was hoping to use my phone for audio and camera. If not allowed, I will need to 'reserve' the family tablet for the timeslot.

Requires a webcam or camera capability on your phone on the Zoom call.

Thanks! I've got camera capability on my phone, I just have to load Zoom and figure it out. (Smak, I'm with you on getting dragged into the 21st century). :)

As a result of all of this, are we saying there is yet another app required to verify tokens? I can't stress enough that my apparently, hopelessly outdated phone (Galaxy S5) will not let me download any apps. Just the core systems are taking up 96% of memory and while I keep clearing the cache, it still doesn't always let me download emails. Yes, I will be upgrading. No, it's not going to happen in the next month or two. But if I can put this on my iPad, then I will be ok.

Im jumping on to this question because my dad, who has become an avid player over the last few years, owns a flip phone and has absolutely no interest in ever upgrading to any kind of smart phone. He doesnt own an IPad or anything that can use apps, unless these things for TD can be downloaded to a desktop or laptop computer.

So is he just... out of luck?

On #4, that's what I hope to do also. Follow the adventure on the computer, and use my cell phone for the audio and the camera (to verify tokens). That's kind of what we did on the WYC D&D virtual game. I guess I'll need zoom on both computer and phone, and log in on both simultaneously.

Just thought of another Q
5. Can a player designate a portion of their swag go to another player? This could be useful for groups who have one player handle all the tokens, but the others still want buttons and maybe participation tokens as mementos. Could also allow someone to donate some treasure draws; mostly would be someone give a few of the bonus draws for the loan of treasure enhancers, but I do know one person who is cursed to give a treasure away each adventure.
Please don't feel any pressure to do this; I don't know if your process would be able handle this super easy, barely an inconvenience, or if it would be confusing and likely get messed up. We will sort things out ourselves if we need to.

Bonus Q: if two players have the same address, will you combine their packages to save shipping? If not, I will put my wife and my tickets both into a single account.

I like doing 5-man aka "double down" runs and would like to try a virtual one. I haven't seen any information on this, but is ghosting going to be allowed for these?

It's mentioned in the FAQ, ghosting is allowed.

"Q: Is "ghosting" allowed in VTD events? A: At this time we will allow normal ghosting, but we reserve the right to change this policy for adventures #3 through #5 depending on demand of tickets. See page 55 of the PHB for exact ghosting rules."

Is swag shipping to Canada an option (I believe it was restricted during the patron run)

Zoom can be downloaded to a desktop, but the desktop will need a microphone and should have a camera.

The support app works on iPhones, iPads and a similar app will be available on Android. If the Desktop runs a MacOS, there are options to run iPhone apps on Mac's, but with the release in October of the latest MacOS, Macs will be able to run iPhone/iPad apps natively.

There are Android Emulators for Windows 10, that allow users to run Android apps in a Windows 10 environment.

You could just use dice instead as well if your dad is unable to use the app. Though he will still need access to Zoom on a computer.

2 screens was done in our patron run without issue. That was one user though, not sure how 10 players doing it simultaneously will work out.

It says this on zoom.us/pricing for the free version: "40 mins limit on group meetings" Isn't that a problem with a 2 hour VTD adventure?
