Will the memorization test for Druids still be identifying real-life leaves? I confess I'm asking as a life-long hiker/camper ....

Also, I love the idea of giving used consumables to new people. It really helps set the tone.

If I bought two tickets for the same run (for myself and my son), and we live at the same address, is there any reason I need to set up a TD Events account for him and have one of the tickets transferred to him? May I just keep both tickets in my account and show both at check in (we will be on separate devices but in the same home) and have all of the tokens mailed under my account?

not sure if it's been asked, but what about specials or eldritch runestones

are they in use this cycle? do we have known effects?

Also worth asking what the Wonder effect is for this year?

Yep, just get all the tickets direct to you, no need for 2 accounts

Aegoce wrote: Edited: finally noticed that each weekend only has 1 dungeon available so there probably aren't enough instances of merging shipping for any sort of extra benefit for merging to be adequately beneficial for the complexity

This is maybe more work than it's worth, but with shipping built into the ticket price and I imagine most veterans trying to get tickets to both events (or some getting multiple tickets to individual events), would it be reasonable to provide some sort of benefit to people that have shipping combined?

A 10 pack is basically the same price as shipping so tossing in an extra 10 pack for each extra run result merged into a single box perhaps? Alternatively $8 store credit would be even better, but I suspect a lot more effort than just tossing in an extra pack (and I don't actually know if the store even supports holding extra credit currently).

I think an example for our group could be that we have around 7 people that play from this area and if we did 2 or 3 runs, we're talking a worst case of >150$ (21 * 8) for something that can come in one package to my house (albeit a heavy one)...just saying it can happen...I think some of our group will hold off on the VTD. I suppose the same could be say for 2 people doing a few more runs...10 runs is an incremental 80 for shipping, but can come in one package. GIven the player base, there are probably MORE occurrences than average, but I agree with you that I'm not sure the added complexity is worth the squeeze. Honestly, I'm not worried about it and whatever TD decides...I just consider it funding the cause.

Check out this nifty website: http://tokendb.com/token/amulet-of-wonder/

2020 Season 2-Hour Adventures:
• You take -10 damage from melee attacks made by Constructs
• You may critically hit Constructs on 19-20; does not stack with other crit range expanders
• If you’re a rogue, you may sneak attack Constructs

How does this sound?

Q. How will the 5th level Rogue's Power "Flank" by handled in VTD? A. Once per combat, instead of attacking during a combat round, rogues may declare they are flanking. The Rogue then names one of the other characters, and that person gets to make three attack roles -- taking the best of the three as their one roll result. The naming of the character must be done before that character has taken an action that round.

Jeff, that sounds great. I think you were responding to a different post though, and I'm interested in what you think of this post. An extra pack of tokens for each instance of combined shipping sounds good to me, it seems like one shipment and 9 extra packs of tokens would cost less than 10 packages shipped. But, you probably don't need to add incentives, since most people combining shipment are probably going to do it anyway.

That sounds good, but the logistics might be an issue. Let me talk to Lori about that idea.

How's this?

Q. Do I get some extra swag because I am leaving all the tickets I bought in my account -- instead of transferring them to the other players? This means all the swag gets sent to my address, and that will save TD some mailing costs. A. Yes. We will include an extra random pack of Treasure Tokens for each ticket's swag sent to a single address. For example, let's say you bought 5 tickets for you and your friends, and you do not transferring any tickets to another person's account. When we ship all the swag for those 5 tickets to your address, we will include 5 of the normal Treasure Token packs that come with the 5 tickets, but we will also include 5 additional Treasure Token packs, too.

Honestly, I can't really give you a perfect answer. I don't really know since I am too close to the event. My guess is that it should work well for new players who have had some D&D live-play experience or escape-room fun. I don't know if it will work well for non-gamers. The Patrons seemed to love the playtest, but most of them were veterans. I'd appreciate you giving it a chance with them.
