TOPIC: Scroll Boom Tube?

While extra scroll damage is interesting and likely to show up on more tokens in the game, is scroll reusability the best way to handle the use of consumables? What if all of damage and healing scrolls similar to what we have now were common and uncommon tokens and and rare scroll tokens were saved for things that don’t come up often such as extinguish fire, comprehend languages, etc?

I disagree. Rare scrolls need to be more generically useful because they are rare (not to mention consumable). It would be bad if a new or low commitment player opened a pack and got a one time only rare that was good for one room in one dungeon. And if they miss that, then it might not come up again for two or three years.

That said, a multi-purpose rare scroll might be interesting. Something like:

Scroll of the Third Eye
Choose one:
True Sight
Read Languages
Protected Sight
the chosen effect lasts for one room.

That would be a cool scroll to see. :) Multifunctional scrolls would cut down on the amount of utility scrolls carried, though they usually don't come up much in combat. I like the idea regardless.

I dislike "choose from the following options" token ideas, because they're hard for Coaches & app builders to handle.
But, hey! This is one suggestion which doesn't affect the party card.
I could get behind this.
