That's a pretty cool idea!
I'd like to see some quick math on how much Retribution damage a person could stack... We wouldn't want to accidentally make a token which allowed 50+ pts of auto-damage. Tho... maybe it would be worth it, for the sacrifices you'd have to make in your basic build, just to allow that Retribution damage.
Certainly as a once/adventure figurine, it wouldn't be too easily abused.
And unlike some of the "use X bonus instead of Y" suggestions which could cause combat to bog down ... retribution damage total is clearly marked on the card, it won't involve any extra math or "show me proof" tokens.
I really like this.
Permanents: 25/hit
6 more once per run
3 more with armor restricted to specific classes
Additions with consumables limited to one room. Some further restricted due to be scrolls.
Thanks Edwin!
Looks pretty reasonable to me.... especially since a Figurine of the Panther re-slide can turn a "Miss" into a "Hit for 30+ pts of damage" quite often.
Might be just 23 on permanents. Neck, waist, charm and three ring slots needed
26 by my count
Amulet of Thorns - 4
Belt of Thorns - 10
Charm of Thorny Barbs - 2
Shark Tooth Armor - 3
Supreme Ring of Elemental Command - 3
Any UR Ring of Elemental Command - 2
Any other UR Ring of Elemental Command (plus Gloves of Glory) - 2
And then
Figurine of Power: Spider - 6 (but only once per game)
Potion of Icy Blood - 3 (consumable)
Scroll Avenging Asp - 3 (consumable and also doesn't work with Shark Tooth)
Scroll Frostshield - 6 (consumable and also doesn't work with Shark Tooth)
Scroll Fireshield - 6 (consumable and also doesn't work with Shark Tooth)
Scroll Eelskin - 3 (consumable and also doesn't work with Shark Tooth)
Scroll Valkyrie Shield - 6 (consumable and I am sensing a pattern here)
I'm not sure if Charm of the Sage would work with retribution scrolls, but if it does, bump them all up by 2.
Add Lenses of Sage Speed, and Pouch of Tulz, and Wizard can do 42 in round 2 (or 46 it the Sage Charm works).
