I thoroughly enjoyed being a combat DM. I am optimistic about doing more of that sort of thing.

Also, are tickets on sale for PAX South yet?

Has anyone found out why there is no N3 at PAX?

As a SA native, I've already run N1 and N2 at Gencon, as I couldn't buy tickets fast enough to run N3, and was hoping to run it here, but it isn't offered.

That doesn't mean I'm not going to try and volunteer to help out, and get my local friends hooked, just wanted to find out what the deal was.

Just a guess but there might have only been space for 2 dungeons.

You have to watch the website. Jeff makes proclamations about which dungeons will appear wear so there was plenty of advance notice if someone wanted to go to Gamehole con

Or volunteers, also GHC was N2 & 3 so Pax having n1 is kinda expected IMO

Whether space, volunteers, or both, only 2 dungeons were played at GHC, and 2 were announced for PAX.

Why N1 and N2 rather than some other combination? That is definitely Jeff's call, or someone else in a leadership role.

When GHC was announced, I was quite bummed it didn't have N1. As a side benefit, that lack of N1 at GHC is what is driving me to make it to PAX.

I can't say with certainty, but I would imagine N3 will be at Origins. I believe someone else posted about it in the Origins thread.
