Kind of usual craziness from my point of view. The worst part was trying to stay connected to this forum. It still is as I try to catch up. In end, I ended up being able to complete my schedule, but as usual I couldn't accommodate all of the groups I wanted to join and not all of the times are as good as I would have liked. Oh well, it's all good.

Congratulations, Jeff, it looks like another outstanding year of ticket sales! Supply and Demand do seem more in balance this year. While I'm sure the vast majority of tickets sold already, there are still over 150 slots with tickets left in it (I can't see how many tickets per slot are left). This time the last couple of years I think there were just a handful of tickets left.

Hopefully that means there won't be a big price increase next year.

Jeff Martin wrote: The Sunday that TD tickets go on sale for Gen Con is always the most "craziest" day of the year for the folks at TD HQ. Every year we wait with fidgety hands for tickets to go on sale to see if we still have gamers who want to play our game. And, of course, this year we are a wee bit more nervous about ticket demand due to the "enhancement" of our adventures this year.. We raised the ticket price to where it needed to be, and we changed the event structure so there are no more combat and puzzle versions. I am hoping...really hoping...that folks will give us the benefit of the doubt, try it for one year, and continue to game with us.

I am hoping for at least 80% of the tickets to be sold within 24 hours. That gives us 10% more to sell leading up to Gen Con, and another 10% to sell at Gen Con. This way as many folks to want to try/play TD will get a chance to do so, and we will get the funding we were hoping to receive.

Thank you all for your support and passion for this wonderful group project called True Dungeon. After 16 years, it still kind of feels like I am 15 years old and I am putting on a haunted house in my neighbor's basement with the help of the neighborhood kids. It is all just crazy energy focused on making people happy while winging the whole thing on what feels right in my gut.

Keep your fingers crossed, and let's hope my gut is right about the 80%!

As of ~5 PM Eastern, there are around 307 unsold TD tickets for non-Grind runs out of, I think, 7980 such tickets?

94% of the way to a sell out within 5 hours if that is correct - nice!

Wow! Yes, it seems like availability is slightly better than last year, but still looks like there won't be anything left by the time we get to Gen Con.

Surprisingly there are grinds left

Maybe people don't realize they are True Grind, or that there even is True Grind? I don't think any of the newsletters even mentioned True Grind, and the title confused me as well, before I clicked on one I thought it was some other event that was accidentally listed with True Dungeon events.

Yeah...I messed up. I always put True Grind in the title, but I did not this year. Ooops. I will promote them in this week's newsletter. The good news is that true believers got first dibs!

Jeff, good point, any of the long-term players that wanted True Grind this year were able to get it. :)

And anyone who wanted a run for less than $48 could also get in.

This may lay waste to the idea that people will pick up any TD event if it’s ‘cheaper’ - if that was true, this would have sold out for sure. Works out for us - it’s the only event we’re doing twice...
