Assuming this is the wizard build I would stay with the shirt of focus.

Right wizard builds.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. I was saying I wasn't sure how helpful the Rogue will be in this run and that it might make sense for me to switch over to Wizard. The build listed was my wizard build.

My rogue build is here:
truedungeon.com/forum?view=topic&catid=569&id=245490

The damage differential is pretty large between the two. The Wizard can consistently be dishing out 40+ damage every round (more when using MEC assuming healing is available). The Rogue can do 40 once then 20's. Granted - rogue helps with flanking but how much that matters depends on who is sliding.

I can do either class but I think the Wizard has a bigger impact.

Next post, I'll respond to some of the feedback.

I have been thinking about getting the charm of synergy and charm of awareness for the combined benefit. I'll look into it.

What are your thoughts about going with a Cabal set on a wizard?

We should think about how we want to divide up into two groups.

Based on the two characters I posted, any thoughts on if I should go Rogue or Wizard? Wizard will do more damage (by a fairly large margin). It looks like there is availability on both Wizard and Rogue and I'd like to get my class set in stone before the run since I may be arriving with only a few minutes to spare.

Its not just about the damage but I believe your wizard build is better. We should have at least 2 bards because I expect a lore check to be needed if last time is anything.

Please adjust my preferences to Wizard rather than Rogue for this run.

Wade posted in another thread that he will not be able to be at Origins.

Not sure what he has planed for that ticket.

Given that, I can hardly make a trip out of town.

I did find a replacement for myself for this run, though I am not certain what class he will want to play. His name is Eric, (escher), and he may post for himself or I may circle back soon.

I wish you all the best of luck in your endeavors, and I look forward to hearing the tales of the slaying of the LoriGorgon!

Update:

Eric will likely want to play cleric, if that is an option for him.

I think both clerics are spoken for.

Hmmm, missed Wades post. Both Clerics are taken. Paladin perhaps?

I think I am “Edwin’s Friend” you have down for Paladin...

If I understand correctly, we don’t have any bards yet?

I am happy moving to Bard if someone else really wants the Pally...
