The folks on the forums have been amazing to me! I have learned a lot, read the entire player manual twice now, and have downloaded an app for my iPhone called the True Dungeon Char Gen or something like that. It doesn't have the 2019 tokens but its been helpful to show me what goes into each slot.

I built myself a Ranger character but I'm also afraid of showing up and someone else wants to play the ranger, and that's all I have built??

The app should have the 2019 tokens if you update it. Or at least most of them.

You'll find nearly everything a ranger uses can also be used by a bard, and most by a rogue.
Try making one of each of those as backups, if you're so inclined.

Ranger is a popular class because of the double sliding.

This gives me a great idea - in my new player threads, I'll put in an extra section with alternate Classes that will use most of the same tokens

I think that will be very helpful.

It's interesting though, other than the 2 wizards and 2 fighters, every other class may require a bit of a tweak. Even the dwarf has the abyssal lenses of taunting that the human can't use, and Paladins can't use every fighter weapon.

Yup - even with the generally budget tokens I've been looking at, most classes would need to swap at least 4 tokens. There are some areas where the tokens dont really change at all. Ioun stones are the same across the board because there are so few rare or less useful ones, and charms are in essentially the same boat, really only varying by Dex or str buffs.
