We had some awesome bluehands in the giants especially Greg who was really witty when interacting with the players.
My online token shop: www.tdtavern.com

We buy, sell, and trade True Dungeon tokens. We also have a convenient consignment program where you can sell your own tokens.

There are very few instances in TD where one can simply place a weapon token on the combat board and in exactly none of those situations does such a placement count as a hit.
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?
Please post TDb corrections in this thread .

Sadly he did not accept my generous, if somewhat pointed, offer to flee for his life. So, down he went.

One doesn't simply walk into a person's house, whack him in the face with an axe, ask him to leave his own home, and actually expect him to leave.

There were some really great moments in that room for sure.

Still hoping a party will sacrifice their bard for 100GP -I'll bring a few pieces with me next time.

I was using a hammer. :P

In a system that has morale check rules that exact thing can happen. TD, of course, does not have that rule.
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

At GC I tried to use a grappling hook and rope to snow speeder them Hoth style. This is clearly something that the grind team would allow. Sadly sticking to the script is the MO for the dungeon.

I don't believe it was covered by the module. My only concern would be that the lock was frozen over with ice. So just unlocking it wouldn't allow the cage to be opened without dealing with the ice, IMO.

Yeah. If that was my call, I'd say unlocking it saved them 1 round but they'd still need to deal with the ice.

Knock and fire I'd say would take care of it, or maybe if they melted the ice with their hands and took 2 points of cold damage, etc.
I came here to sing and collect tokens, and I'm alllll out of money.
