Finally got a response, and it's not really clear. The phrase "Minus True Dungeon..." still leaves things less than 100% clear, but it seems we WILL be allowed to buy multiple tickets. Judge for yourself, here is their response:

I apologize for the delay in responding. Minus True Dungeon, you can only purchase one ribbon/event per registrant. The schedule for True Dungeon is up on the website.

Have a great day!

I sent off a request before you posted yours. Here is what I got.

Good afternoon,

In regards to True Dungeon, there is no limit on the number of tickets you can purchase.

I just can't find an answer to these questions: how can I book a session with my friends?

1) Can I buy more than 1 ticket for an event? Yes. Up to all 10 in a slot.

2) If not, can I buy a ticket FOR someone else? They allow this a GenCon, but no one seems to know how this will work at Origins.

3) Will their system prevent me from buying a ticket that conflicts with another ticket? To be specific, I have a slot open from noon to 2 PM one day. True Dungeon begins at 12:01, so technically, it will end at 2:01. Does that mean the system will prevent me from registering for a non-TD event that begins at 2PM? I am not sure. Sorry!

and, 4) Will a 2016 Adventurer's Guild pin allow me to drop my bag off somewhere for the day? Or is the space at Origins too small to allow this? We will take either the 2016 or 2017 AG buttons for bag check.

I go to Origins every year (as I'm sure a lot of you do), and wanted to make sure everyone realizes that the ticketing policies at Origins are different, specifically:

Refunds or exchanges for event tickets will only be issued if the event is cancelled (the event ticket MUST be punched by the applicable Area Manager at the event HQ to receive this refund).

Also, It has been kind of a pain to add events during Origins in the past due to their system.

Thank you Cavor. That gives me another reason not host any themed runs this year at Origins.

My question is why is the Origins event reg system so terribly bad? It looks like it was created in the year 2000 and then never updated ever again. :pinch:

Gen Con & tabletop.events are light years ahead of this garbage.
Classes Played: Barbarian (65 times), Monk (56), Ranger (33), Rogue (25), Cleric (21), Fighter (13), Druid (12), Paladin (11), Dwarf Fighter (10), Bard (7), Elf Wizard (2), Wizard (2)

Given how much I rail about GenCon's system, that scares me.
