If the hidden max bid was 121 wouldn’t that make the bid 126

But

◦ You must bid at least the current bid + the bid increment.
◦ Bid increment on items less than $10: $0.25
◦ Bid increment on items greater than or equal to $10 and less than $50: $1
◦ Bid increment on items greater than or equal to $50: $5

I think the key word “at least”...often confuses. You can put in a bid of 126 back when the highest bid was 105...that satisfies the bid requirement. It doesn’t mean the bid must be a multiple of the increment. In this manner, a bid coming in of 125 causes the “first bid” to go higher to outbid...which sets it to 126...now interestingly we know the 126 is the highest bid they have as a result.

Well, we know the highest bid is at least 126. It could easily be 130.
