It is. He actually sold a not off-center one that finished a day or 2 earlier than this listing.

I saw this too and thought it was that same guy. Hope he gets busted somehow.

I thought all the people that bought Lenses of Divine Sight from him said they all appeared authentic.

Granted, it sounds like he did short the buyer of the bulk auction of several tokens.

Also - if this is a shady Lenses of Divine Sight auction, does that make them Sunglasses of Divine Sight? ;)

Yeah sorry - I didn't mean that the lenses themselves look shady (although the back looks really messed up somehow) - I just meant this was the guy where all that stuff with Dave happened that looked less than honest.

The back does look pretty messed up - I hadn't looked at the back photo, and the sticker is pretty off-center. Has anyone "in the know" ever seen a back printed like that? It looks kind of double-stamped.

It's pretty extreme but I've seen tokens like that - I had a Charm Necklace offset by that much once.

I've also got a token with no sticker at all in with this year's batch.

True, I've had stickers misaligned before, but not that much. Have you ever seen a double-stamped back like that before?

Not that I can think of - but I don't pay much attention to the backs.

I've gotten 1-2 tokens with labels on both sides.

I've long thought a token with a label on both sides would be pretty cool. Like, a Deck of Many Things, where the sticker on the opposite side would say what could happen on the different die rolls. :)

I have seen tokens misaligned before too but this is extreme...almost as if someone got their hands on defective tokens that were never meant to be put in the markets. Of course in that case
it would have to be an employee of the manufacturer or employee of True Dungeon to get access to the misprints or defective coins right? That back is the worse that I have seen. What happens to the defective coins that are scrapped? Because honestly that is one of the worst misaligned stickers and backs I have seen.

Arthur,

Your implication that someone in the manufacturer or TD HQ employee is involved is troublesome at best. The reasonable and logical explanation is that the token itself is double-stamped and the token is askew. I have been in contact with the seller.

This may be hard to believe, but we do not sort through every token that comes in. Tokens do have mistakes and when found we try to work with people who end up with ones that have significant imperfections.

You seem to be making a lot of assumptions and claims regarding things (tokens and COVID-19). Perhaps you should be careful before making accusatory statements before knowing facts.
