I wonder what the record amount of GP is for a token. What was the highest amount for an Artifact? Could these Artisan tokens hit 500,000 each? :)

I wish I had the cash to go for those Rod segments.

I must admit, I don’t understand the deal with the Artisan tokens...

Well, from what I recall, there were only four of each Artisan token printed. Jeff was supposed to keep a set or two in reserve, I'm not sure if he still has them. One set was auctioned off individually, and one or two sets were in the treasure boxes. If Jeff has a set or two, and Trent is getting an at least mostly complete set from Smak, that means this might be the only chance anyone will have to grab one of these two Artisan Tokens.

Well, it might be the only chance until someone else eventually decides to sell/auction/give theirs away. Granted that might not be soon. But at 200K Gold that's close to $2,500 if you figure about .012 per GP. Unless of course someone has a way to counterfeit the 25K bars or has easier access to GP. I'm betting that if Smak only accepted cash bids the prices wouldn't be close to $2,500 per Token. But who knows. And if the last one went for 420K that's over 5 grand. I'm a pretty avid collector but I'd much rather have a motorcycle :)

the last ARTIFACT, not artisan, went for roughly 420k. I think it was the last auction in the marriot.
