Please do not sell it. I allowed people at the event to trade among themselves, but they are meant to be soulforged.

Thank you.

Totally agree on both points. Yeah, I would definitely take a unique slotless soulforged item over a *chance* at a Relic any day.

I may or may not have recently been seeing how much fire resistance I could build into a character (I've got the cog of -10 fire)

I got a Charm of Avarice and a +5 Deathcleaver, I'm pretty happy with the archery game =)

I got a +5 Deathcleaver and a UR. I have no complaints about the archery pot luck either. Especially considering in my GT Goodie Bag was a Charm Of Greed. =)

(Continuing the HiJack, but bumping EN's trade thread in doing so)

I loved the Archery event.

My favorite GT bonus rooms are generally ones where you have to overcome a challenge/solve a puzzle/defeat a monster to get the bonus. Since the bonus isn't a given, it feels more special.

That said, I really like my cursed Cog.
(Having the chance of pulling a "cursed" item is a bit of a challenge in itself. Do you take the risk, or not?)

continuing to bump EN's post by hijacking it further...

You never know when a curse might be a benefit... Maybe "smells like fish" will be useful if we go to the plane of water...

I would rather have the cursed item than nothing (the bow in the archery contest was starting to break when I used it - or at least that is my excuse for not hitting anything ;) )

There were other "Weapons" I believe you were allowed to try them but I think that might not have been communicated very well.

The bow was good for the average user and for the very skilled. The Axe would have been fantastic with someone with a strong arm. The wand was useful with some luck as the tennis ball had potential to bounce.

The bow was extraordinarily weak, about 15# tops. Those arrows are designed to be shot at humans with ~ 35# pulls. That being said, the standup targets were fairly easy to knock over if you made any contact with them.

The cogs were neat because they are "non-tokens" and unique, but the Game this year was more entertaining.

As for the rest of it, Jeff already chimed in which matched my memory of he didn't want to see them being sold.

I was watching the shootout at the end, didn't realize there were other options. There was a throwing Axe or something?
