I have been working on the printing plates all weekend, and I am about done. It is a crazy amount of work, but it is good to be done! Time to go for a visit. After a few folks take a look at the printing plate artwork, I am sending them off...and then it is on to writing the first 2019 module!

I hope y'all had a great weekend.

Hi Jeff,

Since the Clerics were hit pretty hard with the Lenses of Divine Sight, I wonder if it's necessary to limit the splitting to two targets, or if it would be OK to just say "multiple" targets. That shouldn't be game breaking since it wouldn't be adding any healing, but it would give the Cleric some added flexibility if they wanted to divide it among more than two players.

Thanks!
Mike

Would only clerics be able to do that? Or druids too?

It is not a good idea to substantially change a tokens functionality within hours of them going to the printers before the implications can be considered and discussed.

If such a token is desirable and balanced, I'd suggest advocating for it in 2020 or beyond.

Druids & Clerics would be able to do it.

It makes no sense to advocate for a revised version of this token in 2020, since the token being is printed in 2019. It will be many years, if ever, before it is reprinted again. I don't think it takes a lot of thought regarding the implications - the total amount of healing isn't changing, so dividing it among more people means that each will be healed less. I think it gives some nice flexibility to make up for the power the Cleric & Druid lost. Jeff of course can decide if it makes sense.

I think changes are always happening up until the last minute, it can't hurt to toss another out there for Jeff to consider. :)

My party with linked shirts of healing, pants off Blisswalk, and agate orbs could easily turn a cure minor wounds with any number of targets into 30+ hp. Unlimited splitting would be cool but probably to good

Don't forget that we'll venturing into a swamp and a jungle temple.

Really makes me think of Indiana Jones. It's too bad the only whip weapon we have is kind of 'meh'.

Yup, very little thinking to realize that it would be too good.

For one, trying to recover the lost power from the errata goes against the whole point of doing the errata in the first place. Also, giving the ability for unlimited splitting really diminishes the specialness of the bards heal spell.

I like the infernal Fire Prism, so I guess as a paladin I need to play it off as a souvenir from that time I killed a demon...

I'm a little sad at the change, as I was somewhat amused to try to get an eternal ice cube to keep my Stu's Stein and Brawlers mug chilled. But I agree this is more flavorful, and perhaps having it elemental typed helps make it a tad more balanced than a straight +2 damage.

Well...the art is done and sent off!

I did do a little tweaking on the UR art -- but I changed none of the text. Refresh for a look. I made some of the "darker" images more lighter and brighter (better contrast), and I replaced the image for the Earcuff of the Phalanx.

Thanks again everyone. Time to dive into tweaking N2 module for Gamehole Con. We are replacing the sucky puzzle in Room 3 with something better! (...not saying much...)

Was that the Ice path? Anyone remember?

Makes sense, I think that one may have gotten damaged while it was being packed up. Here's hoping the new room will be awesome :)

It was more thoroughly disassembled than it was supposed to be.
