Double checking that the appropriate tokens have the transmute URL on them.

All of these have the URL and a corresponding transmute:
  • (C) 50 GP Icewood Canteen -> Canteen of Quaffing
  • (UC) 100 GP Jade Sculpture -> Figurine of Power: Dog
  • (UC) 100 GP Malachite Sculpture -> Figurine of Power: Dog
  • (R) +1 Keen Bolt -> Enchanter's Whetstone
  • (R) Bead Firehold -> Bead of the Lucky Traveler
  • (R) Belt of Ogre Power -> Belt of Ogre Mage Power
  • (R) Charm of the Faithful -> Charm of Treasure Boosting
  • (UR) Lute of Fury -> Lute of Free Fury
  • (UR) Shaman’s Belt -> Shaman’s Greater Necklace
  • (UR) Shoes of the Sneak -> Necklace of the Sneak

There are also a few that still have the URL, but no corresponding transmute. Should these have the URL removed?
  • (C) Potion Vigor Root
  • (R) 300 GP Garnet Sculpture
  • (R) 350 GP Gold Sculpture
  • (R) 400 GP Ruby Sculpture

Maybe I'm stating the obvious, but I just wanted to make sure.

Since at some point there will probably be another relic/legendary TE we might not want this to stack with.


I only want to point out that it was decreed that the charm is not a treasure enhancer. I believe the terminology thrown out was Treasure Enhancer Booster.

Relevant because you shouldn't be using the word "another" or "other".

Very valid concern. Your suggestion doesn’t address multiple UR’s though.


I hoped "total" would get across the limit, but failing that (Max X chips) let's us set a hard limit. We can always clarify on tokendb & the coaching crib sheets.

I'd just get rid of any mention of the CoA on the token, to save space.

I'm NOT suggesting it ACTUALLY stack with the CoA, just maybe the space can be better used to clarify the meaning. The CoA can be thought of as three enhancers rolled into one, so wouldn't that inherently break the one enhancer limit? Leaving it off also makes it less awkward to exclude any future legendary enhancers.

The idea is to nudge players into URs.

Putting a treasure cap doesn't do that, it just becomes a bonus to anyone without a CoA.

The idea is:

You get a +1 treasure crown - Neat!

Then you make this - Neat!

Then you buy an Ioun Stone Platinum Nugget, give your Crown to a buddy, and still get to use this - Neat!

OK - training wheels are off, if you want more treasure enhancers you need multiple URs.

Cap treasure at 6 or 8 pulls then - depends if you want to include amulet of treasure finding or not. I think the cap ends up with easier to read text on the token and automatically takes into account the next big te transmutes.

This may seem like an odd question, but should a 6th level player also get the 1 token bonus when using the Charm of Treasure Boosting?

Amulet of Treasure Finding - 4 (or Charm of Good Fortune if the rest of the party has one)
Charm of Treasure Boosting - 1
Standard loot -3
6th level bonus -1

Max of 9.


Can Ghosts equip the Charm? Cant think of a reason why not, but some may find it objectionable.

If you have an Ioun Stone and a CoA, it might be interpreted to still stack with both, since there is just one other UR or lower treasure enhancer.
