Disagree. Strongly. Let's please not add more boosts to stats before we know what impact it will have.

We already have the Charm of Enlightenment (+8 WIS), Moonhide Robe (+3 INT) and Starhide Robe (+5 INT).

Challenges enough without adding to them.

I can see the charm of enlightenment being reprinted to let’s say +4 will and the old print being errataed, if the game mechanics are thrown off by it in 2020. Just like the cloak of shadow skin and lenses of divine sight ultrarare tokens for this year. It would be more challenging to replace the charm of enlightenment as the cloak of shadow skin has less circulation. (being the difference in rarity)

I really hope they don’t nerf Charm of Enlightenment. I just use it for the will save boost since it is such a hard save to boost. There are plenty of ways to boost fort and reflex saves by just upping your Con or Dex. And since I typically play paladin I just want to boost that save, nothing extra special.

Errata to +4 to Will would not be nerfing it for your purpose. My Dwarf Fighter uses it for the same purpose.
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

Your right, in my head I read +4 wisdom

With the new Lenses of Divine Sight, there is no longer a use for Charm of Enlightenment other than +4 to will saves. If we had to nerf that token, swapping it for just the +4 will saves makes a lot of sense to me.

On the other hand, we can now see how OP that rare was, just for the saves bonus alone.

We buy, sell, and trade True Dungeon tokens. We also have a convenient consignment program where you can sell your own tokens.

I'm not sure that's overpowered, it's the same as the Ring of Iron Will.

No more so than the Ring of Iron Will, Ring of Reflexes and Ring of Fortitude. No one called this year's Ring of Iron Will reprint overpowered.

The Charm did seriously impinge on future design space, which was predicted at time.

Oops, sorry, I misremembered that token. Still a bit more powerful since it is a charm slot, but yeah that's not too bad.

At the end of the day it may not matter. It might be the Wisdom can only ever get you a second bead, if so no need for errata. On the other hand if 1st bead is free basically, 2nd bead at 16, 3rd bead at 20, then maybe it’s time to discuss it

Since there are a number of classes with a starting WIS of 11 it could matter a lot.

Would be funny if there was a creature with possession, that took over a fighter or two (after the enlightenment, err if the token is removed), and then they can attack the party doing their regular damage.

Lets leave old tokens alone please.
