I understand that we will be entering our own XP this year and that we will have to obtain any level rewards from the TD store after we have entered the XP.

Will the on site store have these items so that we can obtain them at GenCon?

Which would be unfortunate for people who will be earning a level reward that gives them an extra treasure pull.

I understand the reasons for doing this. I worked the XP desk last year and it was a less than pleasant experience.

However one fun part of it - when it was working - was seeing the smiles when I got to hand out a level reward.

the extra treasure pull is the 6th level reward (not 5th). because of the delay in XP this year, the 5th level reward is being allowed to be used to claim the 6th level reward. while this does result in some people getting the extra token before they are 6th level, the only people not getting the 6th level treasure pull that SHOULD BE is because they didn't bring their 5th level reward with them. it is not possible for someone to earn both 5th and 6th level in the same year and miss out on a treasure pull they should have gotten.

Or they lost it, can't find it, etc. There was a whole thread regarding a Medallion of Nobility found in the dealer hall last year.

Oh, and if you are calling me out, fine. Here is my scenario. Yes I hit 5th level after my first run this year. But the real issue is that in 2015 I will also hit 6th level after one (hardcore or nightmare) run. Unless there is a change in the system, I will miss out next year.

I don't know if it was so much that as to having to pay for wifi for a few days. The extra man/machine power and space.

I'll have my iPad with me. Anyone in my parties can enter it on the spot.

Assuming I get 3g reception in the Convention Center.

If it is place at GenCon. I know under 'My Account' there is an option to 'Add 2014 XP' but that doesn't mean it is working or full turned on yet. I imagine it is, but just saying because the 2014 Event details page says, "give themselves credit for a particular TD event after Gen Con Indy is over."

If you get your 5th Level Medallion between GENCON 2014 and 2015, you will be able to use that Medallion at GENCON 2015 to get your extra token, so you don't miss out. Right?

I see three possible scenarios

First, this years system stays in place. Then you are correct.

Second, a new level reward item is created for level 6. Then I miss out.

Third, the old XP desk makes a come back. Then I am fine as well.

I was assuming the second scenario. IIRC it was hinted that this years system was a temporary fix, not permanent.

In any case, it could all be solved by having the item on hand at the on site store.

Edit: A Fourth scenario. The Medallion will be bumped up to being the level 6 reward. But I doubt this will be done.
