I remembered what happened though. The first group who came through yanked them pretty hard to form the pentagram and failed.

The second group did the same thing, but the zip ties that held them to the rings loosened and the "excess" rope fed into the length making them longer.

10am actual time, maybe a little earlier since I wanted to make sure everything was were it needed to be. (Remember, I was DMing that morning)

I would estimate you were my 4th or 5th group?

I know where your coming from, but the excess rope did get yanked into the main line with the 2nd or 3rd group that passed.

(Side note, no one used those ropes for training either. We all used the Puzzle Side ropes together. Hence how I got to be the first.)
