TOPIC: Tokens on ebay

Tokens on ebay 19 years 6 months ago #13

If someone is just selling tokens they paid for (or found), I do not think anyone affiliated with TD has a problem.

The special tokens are not available in the kits (yet) and I think Jeff printed them up special (with purple ink) just to give out as a small token (pardon the pun) of his appreciation. So I think I personally feel it is sort of an insult to turn around and try and make a profit on it (even though I can't stop this person from doing so)

There is also a question of how this person has two, (I think it was already mentioned in a previous post), but if a friend gave the second to them, then fine. If they did not, then again something fishy is going on.

Finally the person with the horde is also rather suspicious. It is annoying that they are giving out false information, but let the buyer beware. And if they truly paid for the tokens then fine. But if the horde was ill gotten, then again I have a problem.

The point is well taken that these tokens (like it or not) are a commodity, so commerce will play itself out. It is just the suspicious nature that bothers the "True Volunteers" (ooh, did I coin a new term  ) better trademark that one quick.

*stifles a middle school-like laugh* I can think of a lot worse acronyms to be watching.

That is a lot of freaking tokens to be selling. However I'm going to try to have faith in my Fellow Bluehands and hope it was not one of them. I also noticed the guy said he'd provide his account info. Yay... now I can roleplay someone roleplaying a TD Character......

Anyway... I know I've still got my Ring. I keep it on my desk to remind myself of the fun I had with the other Bluehands/DM's when things seem crappy.
