TOPIC: True Dungeon in the Exhibitor Hall :)

True Dungeon in the Exhibitor Hall :) 15 years 8 months ago #1

Hi All-

Just wanted to remind you that we are bringing our entire True Dungeon inventory of tokens to our gamingetc booth #515, from bargain common bin through binders of rares and ultras. We know it will capture attention of many. We'll be keeping our prices very reasonable and look forward to meeting so many of you who have bought our tokens on ebay and through the forums the past 2 years. You will also meet me at True Dungeon, as yes, I will be doing the run this year. Can't wait.

BTW, our booth is gamingetc Magic and minis, a large booth for mostly miniatures and trading card games, with a large banner hanging down from the ceiling. It won't scream true dungeon, to help you recognize it, but i know you guys will find it.

see you in a week

michelle

515 eh? Looks like that's a pretty easy find from the main entrance across from the Marriott skybridge. I'll be sure to drop by!

I find it interesting that True Dungeon has reached the point where tokens are being sold at a game store now. I'm sure I will wander by.
Thanks,
David

Since you will likely be the only place selling gold for cash legally (under GenCon rules), what price are you buying and selling gold at?

Did I really see a HoP for sale for $400?

Does this drive the value of said item at all?

I wonder if it ever sold?

Where is that question only thread?

With the effectiveness and OOP status of the horn it could go that high. 300 would probably be more accurate though.

Yes but note that the price is a mercurial thing. Horns were offered for $202 buy it now after those two sold but there were no takers at $202. The market had saturated, at least temporarily.

Right - so seeing the one for $400 was an interesting shock!

I understand inflating things to cover costs...(booth etc.) but that seemed like a tad much to me.
